    Beautiful Hotel! It had some mixed reviews, so we went there to check it out and decided to stay there in less than a minute. Amaazing kindly staff, the pool is the perfect spot to chill out and watch the sunset! Lovely rooms. Was nice to feel luxury after some hostel travelling :) Room is nice and a good mattress. And the breakfast options. Wooooow! So many choices and it’s just delicious! So if you have a bit more budget treat yourself for a night or so. You won’t regret it!

    Just like others have mentioned the staff are very attentive .From the gardening crew , housekeeping that were excellent, pool cleaning and restaurant staff were always cheerful and friendly. I would like to thank Ken for always being friendly and welcoming without being overly intrusive.     I loved how condensed the town was, everything was a short distance from each other. There were lots of nice cafes for breakfast as well as restaurants for lunch and dinner. We spent some days in Ekas which is very close to reach by boat, which gave us a nice balance between busy and calm.

    The perfect island for feeling the peaceful island vibes of gilli and a great spot for fresh fish grill food on the beaches and many more great diverse restaurants which will not disappoint!! There are also plenty of amazing warungs to eat local food. Best spot for snorkeling is at “Turtle point” on the East side of Gilli Air and sitting at Manta Taquiria for drinks and great food at great prices!!

    Stayed at tne katamaran hotel, stunning hotel with great food and provided a restful quiet break in stunning surroundings. Both restaurants on site provided great food. The spa was also gorgeous. The entire stay was heavenly! Alu at tne senggigi ferry port organised an amazing day snorkelling at three of the Gili islands. Paradise!

    The local family who manage Green Haven Homestay are so welcoming and friendly. They will do almost anything to cater for travellers, for example I am 68 and wouldn’t have been able to do the 6 km walking tour up and down hills and uneven surfaces so they organised a motorbike tour which was great. The tour of the villages was also good and very interesting and informative to see the local market, pottery being made, textile weaving and bamboo weaving. There was a good variety of food and the family dinner was wonderful, so much delicious local food. The accommodation was suitable in a peaceful environment. I really enjoyed my stay.

    Selong belanak is a charming location with friendly locals and great food! Main beach Munah is buzzing with people holidaying and learning to surf With Warungs along the beach you can grab a board or a cold Bintang and enjoy the water Homestays are the way to go but there are also Also beachfront restaurants and resort style places. Beautiful surrounding areas and still quite enough to enjoy local farming I hope it stays this way and foreign resorts do not take over.

    Was exhausted after Mt.

    Was exhausted after Mt. Rinjani climb and this impacted on my exploration of the wider area, which I would've liked to have done more of. Also despite being officially the 'dry season', the weather was often overcast and rainy. I think had things been slightly different and I had had more time, the experience would have been better.. But still a lovely place that has less tourists than other parts of Indonesia.

    Strawberry picked was fun. Look at google maps to find places with at least 5 good reviews to find somewhere to go. Hiking Pergasagan Hill and spending the night was amazing! Only thing to note though is that there are a lot of mosques here and they are VERY loud. We didn't get much sleep during our stay.

    Gili T is a beautiful island and has the perfect mix of quiet, party and places to visit. We stayed for 4 days and explored as much as we could using bicycles. At the north, is Turtle point, where you can snorkle and swim with turtles - I would highly recommend. The you can visit sunset point, which is beautiful. There is a "party" area of the island too, I would recommend to those in their 20's. There are no motorised vehicles on the island. You can travel via electric scooter, bicycle or horse.
