- From US$339.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,717 reviewsWe stayed in a castle! The inside is beautifully decorated in purple color. The walls are decorated with cool art pieces. There's a free parking lot in front of the hotel. The route from the airport to the hotel is simple so even if you aren't used to driving on the left side of the road, it should be a breeze.Guest review byIzidorSwitzerland

First visit to Dublin, for a sporting weekend, 2 nights.
First visit to Dublin, for a sporting weekend, 2 nights. I would have liked to have stayed 1 more night to see sights but that would be sufficient as its a tourist city...unless i was planning to use it as a base to go visit the rest of Ireland. Honestly...the craic is all a bit over-hyped. If its a hen night or stag do youll probably enjoy it. But there aren't too many sights, and apart from the authentic Guinness and the occasional irish music venue, the bars & clubs are not really anything you can't get in the rest of the UK. Its ridiculously expensive and 'highly variable' accommodation, and the food/drink is also very pricey (think Switzerland!). We were an older group and had a v good expensive meal at the Trocadero restaurant (think £50+ for one main course and couple glasses wine each), and had fun at the Maison en Seine bar/club. But the friendliness only goes so far and wasn't always evident. E.g. came across a very surly unhelpful barman at Darkey Kelly's pub, and many attractions-based staff frankly gave the impression of being bored and touristed out!Guest review byMarcusUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Swords is a bustling town with a reasonable range of shops...
Swords is a bustling town with a reasonable range of shops and heaps of Cafes. Nearby Pavillions shopping complex is a very large mall with everything you need. Swoprds Castle in town is worth a visit but parking is a major problem in the township unless you carry cash. It would be so much easier if cards were accepted. Streets are narrow and can get congested.Guest review byPat TaylorNew Zealand - 10.0
Great facilities locally.
Great facilities locally. Major shopping but hotel is off the beaten track and quiet. Great ambience and facilities without leaving. Traffic congestion for going into the city at rush hours exceptionally bad. Cinemas, Olympic size pool etc all nearby.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Well, it's an airport hangout.
Well, it's an airport hangout. Room small but okay, Reception staff great. Restaurant staff needs serious training - 6 people (including 2 managerial types!) and tackling for service. Big problem. Not up to Crowne standards.Guest review byWandaCanada - 6.0

It has a fantastic shopping centre with various food venues but are only a very small number of it closes at 9pm. In the area but here are only a very small number of eating places open in the evening. We were there for a business matter, I don't think it's particularly good for leisure in the evenings,Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dun Laoghaire is a hip spot away from the huddle of the city Center. Great walking on the pier, waterfront and through the village. Some lovely restaurants and coffee shops . Breakfast at the Vanilla bean was lovely. The famous Forty Ft swimming spot is a short walk. Lots of quaint shops and vintage secondhand stores scattered along the Main Street . Good public transport on busses , trains and taxis . Aircoach to Dublin Airport from Marine rd opp City Hall. Market in the Peoples park is well worth a visit if you’re there over the weekend. Childrens fun fair on the waterfront runs daily from 12 noon till 7 pm . €3/ ride.Guest review byJenniferCanada - 10.0

Excellent day. €35 for entrance became €20 with my Seniors card. Thanks to the racecourse for this. Drink & food not exorbitant which I was half expecting so I was pleasantly surprised. We loved the seating to watch the racing where we did not have to pay any extra. A great day overall. I wish I could say the same for the nearby Clayton hotel where we were fleeced & got very poor quality. This will be an important factor if I decide to go again ( This was my first trip to Leopardstown races in over 40 years ). I generally go racing in the south of the country. Will see.Guest review byKelleherIreland - 10.0

There is a Good CarPark, but if you don't have a Car, you can hire a GoCar, or get one of the Many Public Buses. Dublin bus has the 24hr E1 service from Bray to Ballymun, through the City Centre, using the Stillorgan Road or the E2 from Dun Laoire to Finglas. Aircoach stops right outside. S6 to Blackrock and Tallaght Square.Guest review byKarlw970Ireland
