- From $211.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,004 reviewsI found Andrew to be a wonderful manager. He was polite, friendly & professional. I would strongly recommend he be promoted or at the very least given a substantial raise. 5 stars for the management. Now as for the premises...Gorgeous! I walked the path down to the water each morning and found it simply stunning! I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfasts as well. The kind young fellow of Indian decent was just brilliant! He brought my breakfast to me as I have trouble getting around sometimes. He went out of his way to bring me a cappuccino and poached eggs with toast and sausage with orange juice. Now at this point I must interject my thoughts regarding the food. I was beyond impressed. The muscles were fantastic! It is also important to note the porter named Conor was wonderful bringing my bags to my room for me. Saving the best for last the young men who worked in the pub made me feel right at home with friendly banter and quick with a smile. Conner and Rory were the very picture of Irish hospitality!Guest review byAnnChina
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 505 reviewsThe hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.Guest review byJacquelineSlovenia

Galway is a delightful city - charming older downtown in their Latin Quarter, delightful range of shops, restaurants, pubs and some fantastic coffee shops. We walked all over the Latin Quarter and thoroughly enjoyed our walking visit before heading off to continue our drive on the Wild Atlantic Way through Connemara. So glad we opted to spend a night to explore the city.Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 10.0

Cleanliness in the room is first class. Furnitures are shiny and spotless up to the highest standard. Staffs were professional and welcoming. Friendly and very happy to help. From the moment we arrived in the hotel, the accommodation delivered on every promise of comfort and luxury. When we entered our room, the smell was lovely and refreshing, the bed looks so beautiful and comfy, room very clean and presented nicely and bathroom very clean and shiny. A special thank you to the staff Trixie and Jackie for making our stay so memorableGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

This B&B was a short drive to Galway city and offered a quiet refuge. We had stayed in the city for excitement and that was just fine but the Claregalway cottage was a welcome change -- the location was near to few businesses.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....Guest review byKarenIreland - 10.0

Loughrea is a beautiful small town with an amazing lake and hills surrounding it. You can really feel the Irish vibes there. There are many pubs serving lovely food, and Hope's Bakery is worth visiting for their homemade bread and cakes.Guest review byIwona - 10.0
