- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 726 reviewsWe loved our stay at the Driftwood, from check in to check out, the staff were professional, friendly and made us feel most welcome. The room (we were in No.1) was warm and inviting with classical music playing upon entering and with the beautiful artwork and absolutely amazing sea views, these discreet touches along with our roll top bath and Voya products, made for a very relaxing stay. We ate lunch and breakfast there and the food was fresh and beautiful and all our questions and requests were answered and fulfilled with ease. To top it all off they have prosecco on tap 👏😂 A thoroughly memorable stay for all the right reasons.Guest review byAudrey DohertyUnited Kingdom

The location of the hotel is stunning, looking out over the Atlantic and into the harbour. I requested to stay in my usual room with the harbour view and Benbulben and I got my room and it was just amazing. The coast road was amazing to walk as always. Its my favourite location in the world. The view of classiebawn Castle and Benbulben on the coast road is stunning. Two waterfalls near by at glencar are only 15 minutes drive away. Drumcliff church and WB Yeats grave close by too.Guest review byBrendanIreland - 8.0

I've never been to Tobercurry.
I've never been to Tobercurry. Tubercurry has lots of pubs and the Catholic Church is quite splendid. I didn't get a chance to go skiing but I'm sure it's wonderful. Keep driving and you'll be in Sligo before long.Guest review byGerard - 10.0

Bally mote is a small town with a big heart; close to Sligo and many other visitor attractions. It is an ideal base for those taking part in the Annual Sligo Camino which is a one day trek of 36 kms run by the Coolaney Community. This takes places every year on the first Saturday in July. The Coach House Hotel in the centre of the town has very good food; I have stayed there several times. Nearby is the Eagles Flying Centre which houses a number of Birds of Prey who are the main attraction .Well worth a visit if you like to spread your wings with the real thing!Guest review byRobinIreland - 2.0

Remotely controlled w/o verification (overflowing waste bin) used as a cash machine, no or only little involvement from owner (Steven?) There was very little to eat: no cereals, no orange juice, no jam/marmelade. All of which are easy to keep in fridge No instructions on how to use some of the machines. How can one turn off the light ??? No recommandation but a warning: don't book that appartment End of lamentationsGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Accommodation was excellent, local recommended restaurants were convenient and satisfactory. We aren’t young but enjoyed cycling in the local area. We couldn’t find Lissadel but enjoyed Glencar Waterfall after cycling to Manorhamilton and back. Earlier we cycled around Lough Gill.Guest review byRuthIreland - 10.0

Everything , VERY friendly greeting , room spotless with more than enough items , all the small details , ear buds , makeup removal , lists of places to see , Wifi , towels , kettle and TV in room , biscuits even some quality street at the sign in book , breakfast was spot on and had me full for hours , everything was 100% perfect even the weather was great that dayGuest review byMartinIreland - 10.0
Lovely room but lacking thumb-lock on door.
Lovely room but lacking thumb-lock on door. If one person went out say for an early run and locked the door and another person in the room was having a lie-in, there is no way for the person inside to get out in an emergency. This is not the only place I've stayed with this problem but it needs to change before a tragedy happens. I loved the place itself, with its nice clean rooms, beautiful views and overall sense of quiet and peace. Outdoor patio with tables and a BBQ. I would definitely recommend, despite the lack of thumb-lock.Guest review byTeresaIreland
