- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 117 reviewsi loved the whole set up, from the location, the quality of the cottages, the facilities. the cottages are perfect those looking for peace and quiet, romantic time away but they are also great for larger groups with plenty of space between the three cottages allowing people to enjoy themselves without bothering other guests. Dorlores and Danny met us with the warmest of welcomes, nothing was to much trouble, very informative and helpful, we couldnt have got better hosts. This is the first time we have been to Millstone cottages but certainly wont be our last, cant wait until our next stay.Guest review byPaulCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 68 reviewsBeautiful setting, each yurt has its own garden/outdoor area, amazing views and energy. Really good quality and comfortable bed, bedclothes and pillows. Little woodburning stove brings a cosy feel to the yurt, during the evening. Access to clean shower block and a well equipped kitchen with all utensils and seating area. Hosts are so welcoming and helpful, they also provide Free range eggs from their hens and Helen also designs and hand makes some beautiful sea glass jewellery from the local beach.Guest review byHazelIreland

You need to know where to park and where to shop.
You need to know where to park and where to shop. There are few restaurants in town, so you need to travel around the area to restaurants. It is a place that people pass through a lot is it id a hub location to get to many other places.Guest review byRonaldUnited Kingdom - 4.0
We were very disappointed with this resort.
We were very disappointed with this resort. There was only one cafe and it was really busy. Other cafes/ hotels only opened in the evening. There is 1 tiny corner shop. Given it was a July weekend we expected there to be more establishments open.Guest review byAlexandraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Interesting area with beautiful views.
Interesting area with beautiful views. But we were there during a stormy period so we could not spend as much time outdoors as we would have hoped for. Some of my photo were taken in driving rain and wind.Guest review byDennisUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Didn't spend too much time in Milford itself, used it as a base for exploring beaches & coast of Donegal, Ballymastocker, Fanad, Dunfanaghy. Milford town is small with not much in way of tourist attractions but there are many beautiful beaches nearby if you have a carGuest review byJoanneIreland - 10.0

Rathmullan was good base for seeing things of citizen science interest. This included bird watching in the beach areas and Rathmullan Wood Nature Reserve. We did some bird surveys during our week stay which we will feed into UK databases. We also were able to visit spots of outstanding geological interest near Fanad Head and Portsalon. We enjoyed our two visits to the Glenveagh National Park.Guest review byDesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We went for a short break with our 2 spaniels, as we do every September. The chalet was lovely, cute if a little small, but it had everything you could need for your stay. It had a log burner stove in the living room a TV and hifi for the cold evenings indoors. One double bedroom and one small single bedroom. It is very close to the lovely sandy beach. Literally 5 minutes walk. The area has lovely scenery and coastline to explore. Not many pubs, shops, or eateries close by. Our only negative was it was hard to find anywhere close to eat out. The are 3 pubs in the near area. One was closed down, one didnt serve food at that time of year, and the other didnt let dogs in. It did the job for us and we enjoyed our stay there, plus the weather held out for us :-)Guest review byNoelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's a beautiful location with a lovely beaches and lots of native woodland. It's very popular for families during the summer months but great for a relaxing break out of season. Scenic drives, walks and lovely eateries close by.Guest review bySharonUnited Kingdom
