Loved waking up for breakfast every morning and being served by the lovely girls sa chistin. The room was beautiful, great view and tea and coffee left beside the kettle every day. Heaven.Guest review bySíomhaSpain
- From $167.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 364 reviewsGreat location in the middle of the Island close to the lovely Kilmurvey beach. There's a cosy common room where you can relax and chat with the other guests or the hosts. We received a great welcome by Sean and Michelle who also arranged our transport to the ferry in the morning.Guest review byMarieSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 517 reviewsGenie, at reception, made the entire stay memorable. She was the most personable and professional hotel worker we met on our two week vacation. She made us feel like friends instead of guests. The rest of the staff was excellent too but Genie was a standout.Guest review byWallaceUnited States

Such a beautiful island.
Such a beautiful island. Peace, nature, wildlife, beautiful hand knitted aran jumpers in the shops, good food and friendly local people. There are horses and carts that will take you round the island. What a way to travel! Loved my time there.Guest review byJacquelineSlovenia - 8.0
Great island to visit. Its is busy as expected in summer.
Great island to visit. Its is busy as expected in summer. Hire bikes to get around. Dun Angus is a must visit. Nice beach to visit. It's a good 40 mins cycles to get there and 15 mins walk up to cliff top! Food is expensive as expected on peak summer visit.Guest review byAndrewIreland - 10.0
Excellent property and fantastic hosts.
Excellent property and fantastic hosts. Great communication when I had an email query. Lovely extras like milk and bread in the fridge when we arrived. Absolutely spotless property and very well equipped. The bathrooms were lovely and there was plenty hot water. Lots of space, it's a huge house! Plenty entertaining space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!Guest review byMarianIreland - 8.0
Cute little town - convenient to the ferry. Lovely scenery.
Cute little town - convenient to the ferry. Lovely scenery. Great if you hike or bike(unless it’s raining, which it was for us). Pub food is about the only option, it’s a little elevated at the Hotel. We took the hop on bus, only two stops, not a tour - the driver didn’t say much. We had to walk a little further to make it easy on the driver, not a great customer experience. Two days is plenty.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0
The island is absolutely isolated.
The island is absolutely isolated. Only transportation is bicycles. Most tourists arrive on the morning ferry and leave on the evening ferry so when you stay overnight, it is very, very quiet and isolated. We really loved that part of it! “Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
A shorter list such as tidy up after cooking and that...
A shorter list such as tidy up after cooking and that emptying bins and removing shoes to protect floors and general things not a long check list for a cleaner to do and insyring a drop of milk is there for guests as the shop may be closed on arrival also if we had of know this we would have got bits before arrival so advising guests to be prepared be greatGuest review byJohnIreland - 8.0
Outside the town is more interesting than inside.
Outside the town is more interesting than inside. But avoid the minibus tours. Our driver, John, spent five frickin' hours driving around trying to find more passengers, during which time he showed us only two of the sights. He also spent some of the time essentially providing a taxi service, and treated his taxi customers with much more consideration than his tour passengers. It was a waste of our money and a much bigger waste of our limited time on the island.Guest review byKarenUnited States - 10.0
There is lots to see and do on the island.
There is lots to see and do on the island. Lots of history and prehistoric monuments. If you are into live music, there's no shortage of that. The Islanders we met were kind and welcoming. We have dietary restrictions, but we're still able to find decent food to eat. There are some spectacular views, and Poll na bPéist in particular is definitely worth a visit.Guest review bySiobhánIreland
