Dublin was the worst of my travel experiences.
Dublin was the worst of my travel experiences. The accommodations were terrible, and the basic amenities were so poor, beyond the price, that I was shocked. I had to cancel my contract with great difficulty and spent several days in several hotels. The flight to Dublin was constantly delayed, disrupting my itinerary, and it was a total disappointment.Guest review byKumUnited States - 8.0

An interesting city with several places of interest to visit. Lots of restaurant's and bars to enjoy, but recommend booking in advance as our first choice venues were already over subscribed. The people of Cork were extremely friendly and customer service was top notch.Guest review byGRIFFMEISTERUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you are looking for cutting-edge city life, this is not...
If you are looking for cutting-edge city life, this is not for you. Dundalk is a former railway town, largely built round the (now defunct) works for the GNRI and with much 19th century red-brick architecture. It has a busy high street with a lot of small shops, pubs and restaurants, none are grand, it reminds me of similar towns in the UK before planning blight took hold. A lot of effort seems to have gone into smartening the place up in recent years, which is nice. Would that other towns of its scale have survived so well it would be nothing exceptional, but as so few have, it has a real charm. As a base, it is well sited to explore the countryside around, which has a long and interesting history, with a lot of historic sites.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom
