The atmosphere, the people, we find it quiet, we get privacy (we've stayed at all sort of rooms). It's true that the cabins were a little run down but this year it was bought by another group and we saw they did some upgrades, new doors, new couches, new outdoor furniture, it was nice. The beds were always (and still are) amazing! It's clean and service is nice and responsive when needed. Every cabin has a nice porch, most with nice views of the kinneret, we really enjoy time out there also and barbecuing. The pool is great, the water is always at the right (cold) temperature to fight the heat outside and it's partly shaded which is a big plus for us so we can stay a long time in the water without being exposed to the sun. Breakfast is now included in the booking and it's temporarily served in the rooms and I have to say it was great, with variety, tasty and generous. It was also nice not having to leave the room (but I understand it's going back to buffet soon). They also have stables and you can book horse rides (we've done it previous years and it was great! This year it was too hot) It's also only a 10 min ride from rosh pina that has plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery stores which is very convenient. The water is very pure, the beach is nice, it is possible to swim from ladders on two piers going out far into the lake, and there is also a nice beach with shadow. The room was just great, with a kitchen, and microwave. The only thing - you should take the dishes with you, as they don't provide them. There is a small living room with two sofas looking out at the lake as well. The park is great, many flowers, everything's beautiful and very clean. The breakfast is just awesome, with lots of cheeses, grilled vegetables, salmon, pancakes and everything you could wish, in a beautful hall with a 180 degree view of the lake. One night there was a big party on the beach, but they somehow managed to do it so that the music was not loud and did not disturb other visitors. This is a happening place, with a large variety of restaurants, sightseeing and activities. Best to stay at a nice seafront hotel. Do not skimp on good accommodations. We were there for business, so our choice of hotel was not optimal. Next time, I'll stay at a tourist luxury hotel, even if I am not there as a tourist. The Moshav is situated in an excellent and scenic location above the Sea of Galilee. Perfect location for touring the Upper Galilee panhandle and the Golan Heights. There are two convenience stores, a small food-truck cafe, and two excellent restaurants in the Moshav. Many friendly home-owners have B&B cabins. For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area.
For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area. You can do climbs to the Golan Heights, visit the Druze villages in the area, etc. You can also circle the Sea of Galilee for a flatter experience, spend time in Tiberias, etc. Many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Location in the foot hills of the Golan with wonderful views of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), Small village with small grocery store. Easy access to all of the historic sites in the Galilee. Excellent location near key sightseeing sites. Private beach with lifeguarded lake swimming area, separate swimming pool available, gym, local lakeside walks, very good breakfasts. Good WiFi. The accommodation is basic, kibbutz country lodging-style. The staff are very helpful.
