It has been converted in to a fortress for the fourtune found there which belongs to the nation. LANGUAGE BARRIERS is another impediment. Nettor back water safari for 1hr is high 3400/- for 4. Need to negotiate further. Mattancherry palace is better with a guide. Katthakali show 600 pp is worth watching with their makeup n dressing. Any side you turn, the views are stunning. You should visit during a perfect weather with some rain and fog. It doesn't cool very much during sunny days. Roads are very nice to drive a car.
