Every member of the staff took personal care of us…..Mr. Anoop and Shafeeq at the reception/ front desk were absolutely stellar with their hospitality and timely advice. Shafeeq regaled us with beautiful insights of his experience in the region. A huge thanks to Mr. Ramzan for stitching together a wonderful itinerary given the weather related restrictions around the time we visited. Arif……the guy who drove us around was simply fantastic……such a humble wonderful person and an expert driver navigating the treacherous terrains of Ladakh….. Last but not the least, the staff at the restaurant (Zasgyrath) were very friendly and always up for a nice banter. A big shout out to Tara, Sunil, Arun for their hospitality. The management is conscious of the environmental impact and has already taken serious actions to curb / mitigate the impact on the environment given that Ladakh’s delicate ecosystem. The bottling plant that serves the guests with pure filtered water in sealed glass bottles. This is an absolute winner and encourage the management to push for more such initiatives. Nubra valley consists of Hunder, Diskit, and Sumur. Hunder is most visited place with sand dunes and two hump camels. most of the things are in Hunder only. sumur is little far in isolated place. Excellent place to visit. Has varied topography,landscapes and terrain. Infrastructure is just amazing. It has rivers,lakes , mountains and dessert. The pangong lake is just out of this world. The best thing to do in nubra valley to drive along the shyok basin on hunder and panamik side. Do the camel rides and the ATV.. and try the zip line. Stay in a good place.
