Very good experience at this Hotel. Helpful and polite staff. Specially Mr. Praderp Singh at the reception. Smooth check in , no issues during hotel stay. Breakfast had all the food varieties 24 hour restaurant facility. Has shopping centre in the same compound. Has 2 lifts in the hotel, so no issue during peak hours. a beautiful Bengali heritage boutique hotel that has set a very high standards across Kolkata. The check-in experience was smooth; rooms immaculate; breakfast buffet absolutely scrumptious with various cuisines from different regions of India and the F&B staff that made sure everyone was seamlessly catered to; the location was absolutely gorgeous and meditative with a massive area surrounded by lustrous green. The entire staff is the epitome of hospitality including the security personnel Kunal at the entrance. I and my wife had a wonderful time and wish to visit again.

The Cedar Inn is more than a hotel, it is a place where hospitality and respect for local culture meet with tradition. The athmosphere is reflecting the fact that all revenues are used for charitable purposes by fostering the buddhist community. Breakfast and dinner buffet (with live piano music) are excellent and highly varied. Service staff and management are extremely polite and helpful. The setting is colonial style - keeping up the tradition of Darjeeling. It is the only hotel with colonial style in Darjeeling that has such fantastic view on the Kangchenjunga and such a quiet surrounding. The buddhist spirituality is reflected in several details, e.g. minor rituals and the decoration. We will come back to this hotel whenever we will go to Darjeeling.

    I stayed one night at Burdwan Royal Heritage Palace in Darjeeling and it was magical. The room was huge, beautifully furnished, and full of old-world charm. The lush garden was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the view of the mountains was absolutely spectacular. A true royal heritage —peaceful, grand, and unforgettable. Highly recommended for a royal retreat!

    Kolkata is very fantastic place and we see the glimps of our historical culture. It reminds us our past and culture is still here that we have lost in other cities. It's best city to make visit for our kids. In Delhi and other cities we couldn't find our rituals and customs but here I have seen those things ,we have somewhere forgotten but here everything came back to us .I like most Kolkata city if I get chance to visit my kids again I'll come. Meusium, Victoria palace,new market for shopping,South City mall,everywhere we can eat because good food is available in very cheap onething is that in Kolkata no one can sleep hungry. I'm very happy to write such comments for Kolkata.

    Quadraple rooms(room 306 booked online) where we were alloted was quite small - actually double-room. In Europe/USA they are single occupancy rooms. Room 301 was a proper quadraple room, facing sea - but rooms like these were not alloted to us. Staff, including restaurant very friendly, attentive. Food was excellent.

    Access roads are poorly maintained, or not maintained at all. Despite so many hotels and presumably tourists visiting. Additionally the whole place stinks of fish being dried..... at places terribly. Even one can smell when the breeze is blowing at the beach. Nowhere a beach resort stinks so much. There are better options available.

    Staying at Blue bell has been the best stay for us in kalimpong. Hotel was fantastic, well equipped with required amenities, hospitality was marvelous. Specially the owner Mr. Soumya was awesome. I would Personally suggest all if you prefer calm, quite atmosphere and prefer to enjoy me time, this is the best place to stay. My family loved it. Food is extremely reasonable, on time service and very good taste.. scenic beauty is all around because of the balcony the rooms have.. entire kalimpong city view and if weather permits you get the view of kanchanjunga here... please do visit Blue bell.

    Liked the usual quiet stay with plenty of greenery. There are plenty to do in Shantiniketan. However for repeat visitors just relaxing in a pollution free locality amidst the green surroundings is blissful.

    There are lots of attractions in Kurseong that I just didn’t get time to see. Loved the Tea factory . Didn’t eat out at all as the hotels food was very nice. Enjoyed roaming around the streets taking photographs, unfortunately it hosed down so was limited. Loved seeing the monkeys near the hotel!

    Kolkata is a truly cosmopolitan city.

    Kolkata is a truly cosmopolitan city. At the same time a historical city with many buildings from the British era. A city suitable for all budgets. Nice shopping malls, good food, excellent movie theaters. Great shopping. Amazing street food at unbelievable prices. It lives up to its reputation "City of Joy".
