- From US$321.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,704 reviewsWe stayed 3 nights at Skuggi hotel to start our tours from here. The hotel is close to the water as well as to the shops and restaurants and the swimming pool. Rooms are beautifully decorated with dark colors, beds are just as in heaven and everything is clean and nice and well equipped. There are usually enough parking places. 2 things to highlight: Staff was great - friendly, very competent and always there to help and answer questions. Big compliment on you! Second is the breakfast which was stunning, we loved it and felt well prepared for long days outside. The other guests were mixed in age, nationality etc, but always relaxed and nice. That all made our stay perfect and we would for sure come again.Guest review byJuliaGermany
- From US$347.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,161 reviewsWe stayed at this hotel and were absolutely delighted. The room was cozy and clean, and the view from the window was simply breathtaking — it was a joy to start the day with such a beautiful scene. Special thanks to the staff: everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They responded quickly and warmly to any questions or requests, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The breakfast also deserves a special mention — it was varied, delicious, and made even more enjoyable by the stunning view. This is definitely a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended!Guest review byOlhaUkraine

Some of the best service we have ever received, the staff were so friendly, accommodating, helpful and proactive. The room was perfect for what we needed and we would definitely recommend upgrading to the spa package which had a great sauna and indoor and outdoor hot tub. Well located and easy to get around, we would stay again!Guest review byHannahAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 2,814 reviewsA small house was nice and comfortable, clean. Each cottage has its own patron from Icelandic mythology. The breakfast was very good with different products. You can prepare, e.g., your own goffers - it was suprising but a very good idea. The best were colourful fishes welcoming guests with their snouts above water :)Guest review byJoanna EwaPoland

Reykjavik is quite easy to walk around in the downtown core.
Reykjavik is quite easy to walk around in the downtown core. Pretty buildings, great shopping, lots of restaurant choices, etc. We loved going to the pools and it was a good place to start our tour of Iceland. Prepare for expensive restaurant meals, but everywhere we ate was delicious. We enjoyed the whale museum, lava centre, museum of Iceland, and the Perlan (the only northern lights we got to see on our trip!).Guest review byKerraCanada - 8.0

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.Guest review byLynetteUnited States - 8.0

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.Guest review bysandraUnited States - 10.0

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.Guest review byDaniel K.Slovakia - 10.0

My son and I traveled to Iceland for a 5 night vacation, staying in Reykjavik for a total of 3 nights. What a wonderful, safe, friendly city! We stayed downtown in 2 different areas, both walkable to the many museums, restaurants, and shopping districts. Reykjavik is colorful, with buildings and street art abundant. Reykjavik is also expensive, as is all of Iceland, so prepare to spend almost double for food, drink, and gifts as you would in the U.S. That being said, I loved it, and will be back!Guest review bywendyUnited States - 10.0

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it! Loved walking around the hotel and the use of hot tub and sauna !!!Guest review byronnieUnited States - 10.0

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.Guest review byMarciaUnited States
