- From $262.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 6,912 reviewsI recently stayed at Hotel 201 in Reykjavik and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located, offering easy access to the city's attractions, and the facilities were good. One feature I particularly appreciated was the charging point for electric vehicles, which made our travels around Reykjavik more convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was a hot water outage during our visit (which was not the hotel's fault), so after 10 pm, only cold water was available in the rooms. However, the hotel handled this situation well by informing us via email before our arrival and offering access to a nearby gym with hot water showers. While this was an unexpected inconvenience, the hotel's proactive communication and alternative solution were much appreciated. The breakfast was standard with limited options, but it was still good enough to start the day. While there could have been more variety, the quality was satisfactory. Overall, despite the hot water issue, I would recommend Hotel 201 for its convenient location, friendly service, and decent facilities.Guest review byPiotrIreland
- From $356.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,356 reviewsthe room is comfortable, and it's super convenient cos' bus stop is just in front of the hotel and 1 mins walk to the food court and shopping street. Staff is super nice and helpful. I arrive early 9:00 in the morning and the staff tried her best to ask the house keeping to tidy the room ASAP so that I can check into the room earlier. The Spa is great especially the open air one. Breakfast is very good and it start in 7am though it will be better to be started 6am, since local tour pick up is usually in 7am and I only have one day to enjoy the breakfast. Nevertheless, hotel provided croissant and coffee in the reception from 3am so that guests like myself can have a little "refreshment".Guest review byGladysLiuHong Kong

The hotel was just a 5 to 10 min walk to the main shopping area, but also has restaurants, bars and a supermarket close by. Plenty of choice for everyone at the self service breakfast, from cold meats & cheeses, cerials, pastries and hot foodGuest review byLornaUnited Kingdom

Reykjavik is quite easy to walk around in the downtown core.
Reykjavik is quite easy to walk around in the downtown core. Pretty buildings, great shopping, lots of restaurant choices, etc. We loved going to the pools and it was a good place to start our tour of Iceland. Prepare for expensive restaurant meals, but everywhere we ate was delicious. We enjoyed the whale museum, lava centre, museum of Iceland, and the Perlan (the only northern lights we got to see on our trip!).Guest review byKerraCanada - 8.0

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.Guest review byLynetteUnited States - 8.0

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.Guest review byDaniel K.Slovakia - 10.0

My son and I traveled to Iceland for a 5 night vacation, staying in Reykjavik for a total of 3 nights. What a wonderful, safe, friendly city! We stayed downtown in 2 different areas, both walkable to the many museums, restaurants, and shopping districts. Reykjavik is colorful, with buildings and street art abundant. Reykjavik is also expensive, as is all of Iceland, so prepare to spend almost double for food, drink, and gifts as you would in the U.S. That being said, I loved it, and will be back!Guest review bywendyUnited States - 10.0

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.Guest review byMarciaUnited States
