The waters and views of the glaciers viewed from a far are beautiful. Also some of the little food places reflect the cosiness of a working port. Quaint working port village. Worth a stop or basing yourself there to visit the surrounding geography.Guest review byBennettAustralia - 10.0

We did two day-trips in the full days we had staying here, one to the North and northwest, the other to the northeast. We also saw things on the way from the KEF Airport, and on our way to the next destination on the Ring Road.Guest review bymarybethUnited States - 4.0

Iceland is a very expensive place to travel and this guest house was average price for Iceland but the quality of the rooms were low average. Our room had such a bad slope on it we had to sleep at the other end of the bed with our heads above our feet. The bathroom had a toilet in the middle of the room, you had to walk around it to get to the shower and even though the room came with breakfast included it was very poor quality.Guest review byLinford - 10.0

A small and quiet town between the capitol of Iceland and some of the main tourist sites. Right on the way to Skógafoss and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and Diamond Beach. There is a street food truck run by a nice man and woman. Definitely check it out!Guest review byAbdullahUnited States - 10.0

We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so muchGuest review byEmmanuel - 10.0
Great place in south of Iceland.
Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.Guest review byJonastRussia - 8.0

Rooms are ok , with enough space, a small table and a chair, a small sink and a wardrobe. Toilets and showers are clean and practical and the kitchen is well equipped and big enough, there is also two more common areas, a room with some sofas and another one with tables for eating.Guest review byArdnas - 10.0

We came out to hike a glacier, see a few waterfalls, walk the beaches and then go to Westman Islands. We did all of this in 24 hours and this was not nearly enough. Really needed more time in each place and should have stayed an extra night to go explore a little further east!!Guest review byJenniferUnited States
