- From $526.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 607 reviewsWe stayed at Umi Hotel in Skógar for two nights as part of my birthday celebrations. The room was spacious, luxurious, and offered an incredible view of the surrounding landscape. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant both nights; the food and service were exceptional. The lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere with great service and phenomenal decor. Everything was well-maintained and clean, contributing to a comfortable and relaxing stay. The private beach was incredible, especially near sunset. The location was close to several points of interest, including Skógafoss waterfall and the Eyjafjallajökull Visitor Centre. The sauna was absolutely incredible; we were fortunate to have it to ourselves, and the pastoral view from the glass wall was breathtaking.Guest review byNigCanada
- From $284.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,364 reviewsThe beds were very comfortable. Complementary breakfast was very good with some vegtables and fruits and a good gluten free bread. Location is great. Just next to the town center. Receptionist was very nice. She loaned me an HDMI cable and made a resturant reservation. We got a room facing the street but the double windiws blocked the noise.Guest review byDafnaIsrael

Only 10min drive from downtown Vik and any of the black sand beaches. Saw a lot of scam along the road (places we almost stayed at!!) but the black beach suites appartement was a lucky pick! Highly recommend.Guest review byLiliFrance

The waters and views of the glaciers viewed from a far are beautiful. Also some of the little food places reflect the cosiness of a working port. Quaint working port village. Worth a stop or basing yourself there to visit the surrounding geography.Guest review byBennettAustralia - 10.0

We did two day-trips in the full days we had staying here, one to the North and northwest, the other to the northeast. We also saw things on the way from the KEF Airport, and on our way to the next destination on the Ring Road.Guest review bymarybethUnited States - 4.0

Iceland is a very expensive place to travel and this guest house was average price for Iceland but the quality of the rooms were low average. Our room had such a bad slope on it we had to sleep at the other end of the bed with our heads above our feet. The bathroom had a toilet in the middle of the room, you had to walk around it to get to the shower and even though the room came with breakfast included it was very poor quality.Guest review byLinford - 10.0

A small and quiet town between the capitol of Iceland and some of the main tourist sites. Right on the way to Skógafoss and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and Diamond Beach. There is a street food truck run by a nice man and woman. Definitely check it out!Guest review byAbdullahUnited States - 10.0

We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so muchGuest review byEmmanuel - 10.0
Great place in south of Iceland.
Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.Guest review byJonastRussia - 10.0

I am sure there will be more activity and beautiful place to see in a nice day or summer. We are luck to get good temp in our trip (most day above the freeze and one day reached about 10C). We are not luck since there is no sun in all the trip except when we fly back to US. The mountain and beach are great even with cloud and frog.Guest review byQiangUnited States
