Big room and confortable bed. Book the room facing the glacier, the price is worth it.
A little far from restaurants and shops, but tottaly worth it for the peace and quiet. They have breakfast and dinner available.
There is a coffee station by the entrance but no one was changing and puting new coffee, so coffee was cold from the day before already.
When you come to the room you feel there is something missing there, the room is so big and it only has a small table and 2 chairs. Big part of the wall is just empty. I think these rooms deserve a resting chair or a little sofa with a coffee table :)
Nice and helpful staff at the reception.
It was a really nice stay! 1h away from the Glacier Lagoon!

Beautiful cottage. Very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Very clean bathrooms. We saw the aurora from the verandah around the cottage. Sea and mountain view. Walk to the sea beach 5 mins. Walk to the restaurant 2 mins. Apartments and rooms of the hotel are closer to the sea, but a little further away from the restaurant.

We stayed here for two nights. The view of the mountains with a waterfall was absolutely beautiful and made the stay extra special. The room was cozy, well-furnished, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. There was also a separate shared kitchen which was very convenient for preparing breakfast.

The location was excellent, right next to the meet up point for our hike on the glaciar. Besides, the bedroom had an amazing view of the mountain, from where we could see the northern lights! The breakfast was good as well and the staff was very nice.

Location is easily accessible from the main road. The staff was super friendly. The room was nice and comfortable. The hottubs were delightful. There's a microwave and plates etc. to prepare some dinner. The breakfast was very nice and complete.

The waters and views of the glaciers viewed from a far are beautiful. Also some of the little food places reflect the cosiness of a working port. Quaint working port village. Worth a stop or basing yourself there to visit the surrounding geography.

We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so much

stunning, make sure you walk all the way down the trail, there are two other gorgeous waterfalls that a lot of people missed by not going all the way to end end of the trail (which is only a few hundred meters long).

The guesthouse gave a accurate description of the area so we knew what services were there and not there and could plan ahead. We loved walking around and the sights and hikes that were nearby. It was so easy to get to the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, and we could go back to see them at night too. The hosts had many recommendations for what to do and it definitely enhanced our trip!

The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly.
Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental.
Location was 100/10 far more scenic than I expected. Right underneath a mountain and only a 15 min drive from guided tour meeting points and glaciers

We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. The bedding was very nice and the kitchen perfectly stocked with dishes. The playground was fun. The office sells some camping supplies. There are not enough showers, only one for each gender. The kitchen/cooking area is bare bones. There are some nice tables inside. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Great location for glaciers and hiking. Comfortable beds, excellent shower products. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Bar was nice as well.
Definitely recommend this hotel when traveling through this area.

Absolutely loved the variety of fresh, farm to table offerings, and homemade breads at breakfast. Dinner menu was extensive, meals were delicious. Enjoyed seeing the sea birds, and sheep in the pasture. Views of mountain and bay/ ocean were great. Very close to Glacier Bay and Diamond Beach. Peaceful. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend and will return when I come back to Iceland.

Hofn is great, quiet and cosy, but I believe that staying in the nearby villages is even more comfy. The town has a few great restaurants, a really wonderful little pool with hot tubs. Weather permitting, it has a great view on the Vestrahorn mountains + some nice shoreline walking paths.
