Carole's beach was perfect for us. It was sandy, gently sloping, and jellyfish-free. In the evenings, the central streets of the town turn into pedestrian zones with various attractions. During our vacation, we managed to visit a Miró and Dalí exhibition at the Centro Culturale Bafile as well! The beach promenade behind the hotels offers excellent opportunities for nighttime strolls and is also great for morning runs. It's a great spot if you're looking for a more laid-back, nature-oriented alternative to the busier Lido di Jesolo or Venice itself. The coastline is long, sandy, and family-friendly. It’s well-maintained and less crowded than many Italian seaside spots, making it perfect for relaxing or taking long walks by the water. On the lagoon side, it's all about nature. You’ll find salt marshes, birdwatching opportunities, and peaceful cycling paths—especially scenic at sunrise and sunset. It is just a short vaporetto (waterbus) ride away from Venice, departing from Punta Sabbioni. We really liked the quality of food in the restaurants and that of the products on sale in shops. The staff was really professional, quick, helpful and attentive everywhere. There are a lot of facilities to choose from ranging from entertainment, eating out and shops to programmes. Nicely landscaped public places, well-maintained buildings, cleanliness and all kinds of facilities can be found within easy reach.
