Ciampino is a lovely typical Italian town, it’s not very touristy but the locals etc still make you very welcome. It is also excellent if your flying to Ciampino airport it’s literally about 9 minutes on the bus (Airport to the town). This property does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The facilities are outdated and require significant renovation. The room was cold and noisy and had an unpleasant odor, making the stay uncomfortable. Although the staff were polite, this did not compensate for the poor quality of the accommodation. Breakfast was acceptable but did not reflect the quality expected from a 4-star establishment. Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby, as the hotel is unable to provide coverage throughout the building — unacceptable for a property presented as “4-star” Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, and the hotel cannot be recommended, particularly at this price level.Guest review bygaborUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An interesting small town that is sufficiently high on a hill to avoid the heat of Rome yet within easy travelling distance of the city. The views are spectacular. The quiet. The house keepers the farm cat, we fed during our stay. Other guests very noisy when they arrived or went out, forgetting there were other guests staying. It might be an Italian thing to be noisy. It's a nice place to stay considering the cost and with good breakfast. It's a good place to stay after a long day travel. The bed was quite comfortable. Aircon was working fine. Except my room's (#210) shower drainage was plugged and water went down extremely slow. The location is not ideal but if you have a car and a GPS, you should be fine. Beautiful area with easy transport links to Rome, Good local facilities with plenty of shops and supermarkets. Dining out was disappointing, the food was overpriced and not as good as I had previously enjoyed in Italy. For example, I was served an undercooked pizza and a risotto with scampi that arrived with only 1 scampi (second plate).
