The room was spacious with everything you could possibly need. I like the wooden floor too for cleanliness. The location is great - 5 mins walk to the forum with a supermarket across the road. The rooftop restaurant is stunning and nice that it's open all year round. The reception is perfect with tea and coffee and snacks available for guests all day. The food in the restaurant was excellent and all the staff are attentive, kind and very professional.

We are a family of four with two teenagers and stayed in a room for four. The room was not that big but we fit well. The bathroom area was very functional. The housekeeping did a great job and cleanliness was good. The staff was in general very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with a large selection of items, that is served in the rooftop bar/garden area. A special shoutout to Walter and Joshua for fantastic service and friendliness at breakfast which made the start of every day great! The CC Palace Hotel has a perfect location within a short walk from Termini station and close to many sights such as the Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Fontana di Trevi et.c. It is located on a side street from the busy Via Nazionale but there is no noice disturbance at all. This is a perfect hotel for a Roman city holiday.

Wow all in there! Lucky enough we had the good weather too and was able to explore what we had to set out to do like Saturnian terms, Porto Santo Stefano and the coast. The beach was nice and great that with all activities included like kayaking. The the facilities were great and stuff helpful especially and the lifeguards. Really nice camping in the shade of old trees. The bungalow was well equipped, clean. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary equipment. Small terrace had barrier, so kids/dogs can't run out. The mini market had fresh bread and basic groceries. The beach is nice, clean, part with dogs is just next to the non-dog area. Both has umbrellas and sun beds.

Rome is an incredible city but be prepared—it’s *very* busy! Comfortable, flat walking shoes are a must, as you’ll do plenty of walking on cobblestones. Try to book tours and tickets in advance wherever possible to avoid long queues. Expect large crowds at major attractions like the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican Museums (it took us over two hours to get through, and it was difficult to enjoy because of the crowds). For dining, we highly recommend **Hostaria Pantheon** — delicious food, friendly staff, and a lovely setting just steps from the Pantheon.

Stayed too far from city center. Taxi was about $100 euros each way. Would have stayed longer if we had the time. If we stayed longer we would choose a hotel much closer to tourist areas, we stayed close to the airport. Lots of places to see and lots of stores to visit, and tones of restaurants.

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.

This property does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.

This property does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The facilities are outdated and require significant renovation. The room was cold and noisy and had an unpleasant odor, making the stay uncomfortable. Although the staff were polite, this did not compensate for the poor quality of the accommodation. Breakfast was acceptable but did not reflect the quality expected from a 4-star establishment. Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby, as the hotel is unable to provide coverage throughout the building — unacceptable for a property presented as “4-star” Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, and the hotel cannot be recommended, particularly at this price level.
