We just spent a fantastic holiday in Canneto at hotel Odissea. La signora Gaia and the rest of staff were all very pleasant. Cleaning staff really chirpy and light hearted. La signora Gaia was very efficent and kind hearted to us Aswell as the kind staff. breakfast was lovely, rooms clean and location eccellent - bus outside hotel, and beautiful beach. It’s very central and the staff are friendly and lovely. Our room on the first floor was perfect, nice bathroom, balcony, clothes hanging facility outside, comfy bed. Loved breakfasts on the terrace. Elena was very helpful with things to do and great restaurant recommendations. We hired a scooter for one day, such fun to see the whole island. We went on the boat excursion to Panarea and Stromboli with a few amazing swim stops, which we really enjoyed. Also ran up the mountain one morning, which was fab and walked to the nearby beach for swims! Lovely island!

We were greeted at our arrival at the port and guided to the hotel just a stone throw away. The building has a great roof terrace to share with other guests. Also we appreciated the ability to leave our luggage at the reception (a few blocs away) with th3e possibility to have a shower there too.

The place is in the best location in Lipari. Walking distance from the port, just off the main street, which make centrally but quiet. The entire place as well as the rooms are big and very comfortable. The beds are really comfortable, and there is a thought for every details. The flat is beautiful, and well decorate. The communication with Sabrina, the owner, is very good. Strongly recommend on the place

    Staff were lovely, relaxed and welcoming - we forgot something in the room and the cleaner and staff got in touch to give it back to us. The room was very well sized, we were lucky to be on the top floor with a great view and outdoor space. The hotel had everything needed, although the minifridge was not super cold because it's a little old but no big deal. The breakfast was good, with pastries and some hot food too. The negative reviews seem to only be because the hotel is dated, but there is nothing wrong with it, and it's charming the way it is.

    We spent five days at Villa Giunone. Everything was amazing: the terrace from which we could see Lipari harbor and the sea and where we had dinner and breakfast, well equipped and clean kitchen, very spacious bedroom with air conditioning. The location is in the hills above the historic center of Lipari, so you must have a car or motorcycle and it is 10 minutes from the city center but the trip is worth it! Last but not least, the hosts are super nice and friendly! It was one of the nicest places we ever stayed during our vacation!

    We had the best experience thanks to the staff. Gianmarco was the most professional, kind and available host I’ve ever encountered. The room was spotless & breakfast staff extremely kind. This really helped us enjoy our stay. Would not have been the same without them.

    Lots to see and do. Hire a Vespa/car and explore the island. Lots of places to swim except at the Mariner. The beaches are pebbles/rocks, some are pumice grain but easily manageable. The views from the mountain tops are stunning. Such a great view to Vulcano island. Visit white beach for the day and hire a beach chair and umbrella. The restaurant / bar at white beach is awesome and not expensive. They even have a guy pick you up in a car and chauffeur you down to the beach and a back up. , you’ll need to book. Stay near the marina, restaurant /cafes and shops are so close , easy walking. Ferry terminal Easy ferry ride over to the other Aeolian islands, stay for the day. Walk to the crater on Vulcano or visit Stromboli volcano or just explore other islands on a day trip . Take a tour to the varies grottos. Go to some sea side towns in Sicily or Calabria for the dayThere is so much to do.

    Canneto seems much quiete than Lipari, not much space for parking a car nor many restaurants. But it’s very close to Lipari for night life a restaurants Definitely I would choose it again in the future

    Lipari is my parents home town l love it l would recommend Lipari to any one but l would warn anyone who wants a good hotel to stay at Hotel Bougainville in Marina lunga it's the best hosts are friendly food at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was also good and for me my cousins home was just up the street so very convenient highly recommended

    I completely fell in love with the island!

    I completely fell in love with the island! The main town is charming, and the natural scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We did a hike with views of Salina Island, and it was simply stunning. It’s also a great base for exploring other nearby islands. I only wish we had a few more days to enjoy it all!
