We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Vinci which enhanced a fantastic trip to beautiful Sirmione. Hotel Vinci is an exceptional hotel situated by the Historic Centre of Sirmione. The hotel is modern and stylish and comes equipped with an outdoor pool and spa facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and our room was both tasteful and clean and boasted a private balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed sipping Aperol Spritzes on the deck which overlooked Lake Garda and would highly recommend the spa facilities which we availed of during our stay. The hotel's proximity to Castello Scaligero allowed us to easily stroll to old city for both lunch and dinner and wander through the colourful, cobbled streets of old town Sirmione. We would highly recommend Hotel Vinci and look forward to returning again in the near future. Thank you for a fabulous trip!

The hotel staff were very friendly. They even WhatsApped me the day before our arrival asking if we had any questions or needed any recommendations. The rooms are just like the photographs and the beds were super comfortable. I had brought my Mum away for her 60th birthday and the hotel had put balloons on her bed when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of food available. The location was perfect - everything is right on your doorstep. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan.

Sophisticated and Serene

The diverse region of Lombardy touches the 3 largest Italian lakes: Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore and Lake Como. Their beautiful shores house many Lombardy luxury hotels and even more luxurious celebrity residences.

The rich and famous also flock to Milan, one of the world’s fashion capitals, where designer boutiques are found alongside La Scala opera house and the iconic San Siro football stadium.     Came for The Last Supper, but there is so much to see in Milan! Mini Venice at the Navigli District was so nice, free food with aperitif, nights lights at the Duomo and beautiful arcade joining the square was a stunning first night. Sforza Castle, Arco della Pace & Sempione Park, lovely trams and cafés, and got a seat at La Latteria for supper! Day trip to lake Como, fun waterfall at Bellano, beautiful Bellagio, stunning views from the ferries, with sunset over the amazing garden at Lenno. Monumental Cemetery of Milan was a brilliant surprise! MASSIVE collection of sculptures and art from the most powerful families in Milan. Free to explore, a peaceful amazing place. Somehow got the window seat at Café Marchesi 1824, tour of amazing La Scala Opera House, beautiful Duomo views and stained glass at the back is a highlight. Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Satiro has a clever use of perspective to make it look bigger. Fabulous trip! Need a rest now! 😂

    Lovely location, easy access by road, bus or ferry. Great place to be based in order to explore other towns on Lake Garda. Very good ferry service. The old town of Sirmione is very picturesque, lots of restaurants and shops. Still very busy when we visited in early October and would be even more so in the summer months, quieter in the evenings when day trippers have gone. Nice walk around the peninsula and good view from the top of Scaligero Castle.

    Really easy to get to from Verona airport. Beautiful views of the Lake and quick to get to Sirmione which is stunning but can get really busy with tourists. Desenzano town is lovely, lots of eateries, pretty streets, friendly people and beautiful views. The market on a Tuesday was really good, nice to walk around. Many things eg the castle etc are closed on a Monday. I was there 2.5 days which felt enough for me. This included a day in Sirmione. I explored the main sites and then spent a day in Verona on the way home, well worth a day trip or visit.

    Having spent 311 nights in Limone you must understand that we like it and the surrounding north Lake Garda area. Last year it was selected as the most superb flower decorated town in Italy and at the international competition won the top five 'petals' in it's category of small resorts. The winter population is 1200 people but usually busy with visitors from the end of April till mid October. The only criticism this year is that I detected a cigarette end on some steps! Standards are slipping but the Mayor, Il Sindaco, was quite distressed. If in doubt just go and you will not be disappointed.

    Hotel easy to find although there was some confusion at the airport as to where the free airport shuttle bus left from but perhaps the driver was just having an off day. The room was well equipped and spacious but we had no hot water in the morning. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Drip feed the delights of your endeavours to your admirers like a wise mysterious adventurer from the golden age of exploration.     Bellagio was the perfect spot to stay on the Lake, in my opinion. Centrally located to all the hot spot destinations, with lots of restaurant and shopping options. Other towns were quite small, with few options for food, etc.

    Tirano is a small town which has everything, largely because of its location and the Religious tourism generated by the shrine and cult of Our Lady of Tirano. An excellent base to explore the area with frequent rail connections to Switzerland and Italy. Plenty of places to eat well and inexpensively.
