We were able to utilize most of its amenities. Fitness center: they have basic equipments up to 10kg. You need to book in the reception as it can only fit 2-3pax. Laundry: They have laundry which is very convenient. You need to get and load a card in the reception. Breakfast: It was okay. Better than US hotel’s breakfasts. Room: Spacious for two. Location: If you want more steps, it’s around 20-30min walk from Milano Centrale. There is a metro station nearby (Piola?) around 5min walk. Groceries and pharmacies also around 5min walk The people are nice. They allowed us to leave our luggages on our check in since we arrived before 3PM. They also assisted us with all the questions we have regarding the laundry. The breakfast team is also very accommodating with your requests.

Thank you to Federica for a wonderful stay. The B&B was beautifully decorated, our rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with great variety. Location was ultra convenient for accessing the city and lake. Federica was also great at directing us towards local sites, and was even kind enough to help with a small load of laundry. Would stay again if I am in the area!

Camp village is perfect. Wonderful yard, landscaped greenery, right next to the lake. The caravans are clean, you have everything you need. Each house has a barbecue, deck chairs, and garden furniture. There is a shop and a restaurant in the camp. The lake is beautiful, the water is crystal clear, and the place is perfect for a wonderful vacation.

The Citta Alta (the historic part) is lovely to wander...

The Citta Alta (the historic part) is lovely to wander around and take in the architecture; and visit a church or two, and a museum or gallery. There are spectacular views from the Venetian Ramparts (Venice held the city at one point), not least full-moon-rise. And there are two funicular rides to take. But it can get packed in summer; on my first visit, I was "lucky" in that stories about Covid 19 had just begun to circulate and the place was almost empty. Nobody knew what to do in those days; one football league shut down, the other carried on. The cathedral had closed its doors, except for access to the Capella San Rocco (St Roche had healed plague victims many centuries before). Bergamo was Europe's tragic epicentre. It's an irony that in the nearby town of Clusone you can view a mediaeval mural of the Danse Macabre.

Beautiful town but very overcrowded with tourists. Good choice of restaurants and ice cream shops. Lots of nice shops to buy souveniers and clothes. Public transport to nearby towns ends around 7.30pm and it's difficult to find taxis. Uber is very expensive at about E30-E40 for a 10 min journey.

Desenzano is a great choice if you are looking to explore Lake Garda. Its a quieter, smaller town (less tourisy if you like) then some others around the lake, which is something we appreciated. Lots of restaurants and scenic spots. Also has larger supermarkets, shopping malls etc nearby. Beach was ok, pebbly and rocky, but water was very clean. Unfortunately the beach had a wasp problem, but most people didnt seem to mind.

Having spent 311 nights in Limone you must understand that we like it and the surrounding north Lake Garda area. Last year it was selected as the most superb flower decorated town in Italy and at the international competition won the top five 'petals' in it's category of small resorts. The winter population is 1200 people but usually busy with visitors from the end of April till mid October. The only criticism this year is that I detected a cigarette end on some steps! Standards are slipping but the Mayor, Il Sindaco, was quite distressed. If in doubt just go and you will not be disappointed.

A must visit city, far better experience than over touristy Verona, for example. Many museums and sites of interest, laid back vibe at night , lots of restaurants with great variety of cuisines, mainly "locals" from suburbs or the old town, chilling in a very pleasant atmosphere, amazing historical buildings and Italian charm. Has all the architecture of "typical" Italy, but without the crowds.

There's so much to do in the area. we went summer skiing at the glacier (Stelvio), which was ok (lots of long lines for the button lifts because of the hundreds of ski club teams). The ferry was very useful in getting around, and the staff were all very helpful with understanding the routes and times. Bellano was a hidden gem to visit with the waterfalls but the castle was a very steep trek that we didn’t find to be worth it at the end. Most restaurants close on either Tuesday or Wednesday so look up online incase there’s any you particularly want to eat at as we missed out on a couple. This is also the same for tourist attractions such as the villas. Coming from the UK we assumed everywhere touristy would be open 7 days a week but not in Italy. There is lots to do but just make sure you’re aware of the ferry times/train times so you don’t get stuck somewhere you don’t want to.
