- From US$105.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 849 reviewsThe position is outstanding with fabulous views across to Procido and Ischia. Access is up a long, long hill so you need either a car or taxi unless you love steep hills! The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the train station in Pozzuoli for Naples (30mins on train) or onto Sorrento/Pompei etc. Rooms were good, plenty of storage. Balcony and view a real plus. Guests need to be aware that the hotel is a perfect place for birthday parties etc so you can find that each night there is something going on. We had two events but we weren’t in any way affected. Some music of course but not a problem for us. It is also a venue for conferences during the day. Again, no problem to us as we were out doing tourist things! Gli Dei is a very large, expansive and modern hotel so it’s easy to find seats in the shade or in the sun. We can recommend the hotel. The food was very good (we ate in the hotel one night) and breakfast provided a range of options including scrambled egg and bacon. Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Giuseppe was especially a great help. Some of the serving staff were a little abrupt and “distant”. Whether this is training and policy we didn’t know as other staff were very nice and made us feel welcome. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 440 reviewsNice hotel located near Pozzuoli. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. The hot tub was a good addition and the shower was lovely (much better than the apartment we rented in Pozzuoli center). The pool would be excellent in the summer, but it was a little too cold for swimming in November. Ideally you should have a car if you're coming to this hotel, the site is next to a motorway on the outskirts of Pozzuoli and has good links to Naples overall (by car/train etc). Good on-site parking. Breakfast was nice and served as a buffet with friendly waitress that will serve you hot drinks. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 10 AM. There will always be staff available to open the front-gate at any hour of the day, which was a big plus for us.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom
- From US$127.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 437 reviewsThe reception staff were amazing, they truly went over and above to make our stay extra special whilst the hotel was obviously very busy with an event. The room was clean, comfortable, and we slept well. The restaurant had some lovely dishes for an evening meal, with an incredible view! Breakfast was good, all options seemed to be high quality. The hot tub on the top floor with panoramic views was particularly special! We would definitely return!Guest review byDanielUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 163 reviewsLovely house in pleasing surroundings. Free parking very easy and plenty of space. Staff were delightful and most welcoming. Restaurant food was excellent and great value for money. Our waitress, Louisa, was fabulous and so helpful. We were only sorry we didn’t get to see her at breakfast before left for our onward journey. We would definitely stay here again.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 286 reviewsRooms are cute and clean. We got the sea view room that faces the garden and beach. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They've two very cute and well behaved cats which is a nice bonus. The location is very good, close to train station, restaurants, Campi diving center, lake avernus and the termi park. Baiae port is only 27 min by walk.Guest review byPeiCanada

The room was clean and perfect for a few days’ stay. We chose to have breakfast on our terrace, and it was delicious. No parking.
No parking. Many steps to get to the piazza and port and not pedestrian safe. Not geared to tourists. Shops for local consumption mostly. Ok for a day or two but traffic in and out is terrible and not a good base for exploring the area. I found the restaurants good but expensive.Guest review byAndreaUnited States - 6.0

Almost only Italians are in Bacoli, very few international tourists, which makes it a special experience. You can just relax and enjoy the sea at several beaches, many of which are free, like Spiaggia del Poggio and Lido Schiacchetiello. There's quite a large supermarket on Via Roma with lots of nice local cheese, meat and fruits & veggies. Everything within Bacoli is walking distance. We used public transport to get there and around, EAV buses run mostly on schedule to reach for instance, Pozzuoli. Pozzuoli may be a better choice to stay if you want to discover the Roman ruins and the islands. There are some things to see and do in Bacoli as well, like visiting the Castle with amazing Roman sculptures and the Piscina Mirabilis is also interesting to see.Guest review byBarbaraHungary - 10.0

A quaint town, very hilly, so if walking is not your thing consider this as the driving is not for the faint hearted...We used the bus which was a little confusing but all part of the experience and even when the bus drivers spoke no English they were happy to try to assist. Lovely beaches, not too busy in June but i am sure are packed in the heart of summer.Guest review byBridgetUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved to visit the Greek/Roman sites at Pozzuoli, Baia ,Bacoli and Cuma which were almost empty of tourists. There were a variety of restaurants within walking distance from the property, but it was easy to travel to Pozzuoli by public transport where the restaurants on the front are superb.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful coastal area just a few kms. from Pozzuoli and easy to get to from Naples if you have a car. There is a train line but only seemed to be a few trains a day, and not sure about bus transport. A car for this area is essential to get the most out of it. We went out and about every day exploring the area, which has some wonderful archaeological sites, some dating back to ancient Greek settlements, that are little-known outside of Italy. Lots of pretty beachside cafes.Guest review byBrooks - 10.0

In my last review I forgot to mention what an amazing host Salvatore was. He was attentive to our every need and made us feel at home! He helped make our trip memorable. Also, gelato, pastries and coffee available at the coffee bar right behind the property. Very convenient!Guest review byCynthiaUnited States - 10.0

Pozzuoli, l'antic Puteoli, was a very important place in the roman empire and has so many interesting archeological sites, like the 3rd biggest anfitheater Flavio and the tempio di Serapide, an antique market place, as well as the Rione Terra, this unique underground archeological site and above the very new houses and modern Cathedral of San Procolo, which is an interesting project.Guest review bySabine UlrikeItaly - 10.0
