I was very happy with my stay, the hotel is located on the edge of the town, so its quiet, however within few minutes you are in the centre with bars and restaurants. I liked my room which was stylish and clean with nice moutain view. There is a large car parking in front of the hotel. Also breakfast I found very good, large variety of food, very good quality. There are two cables directly in the town and many turist path around. The staff was perfect. I also enjoed the half board dinner served in the hotel, I dined three times and always the food was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Aurora. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was well equiped and large. We travelled with a little baby, so we appreciated the size of the room and the view from balcony. Also as a gluten free person I must say, that the GF breakfast offer was perfect. The staff even prepared a freshly baked GF bread for me every day, which was very nice. Next year we will definitely visit this hotel again.

    First of all, everything shown in the pictures and text is completely realistic. The entire place is beautiful, and the ski slopes are superb. The hosts are just as friendly as they should be, providing all the necessary information simply and precisely. It was important to us that the kitchen, bathroom and windows were renovated and very tidy. I used the fitness room and a little swimming pool and I am very satisfied.     A very nice location, well positioned close to the city center and close to the ski structures for those who want to walk to the slopes. The staff is very kind and welcoming, we stayed in an apartment, very clean and welcoming. with a view of the mountains. Being very close to the center, you can go out to visit or have dinner at. restaurants where they have local products, very tasty. Very important is that you can bring animals. We came with the cat, a Scottish fold that ended up being the mascot of the area. Thank you for your service and kindness.

    The staff is extremely nice, sympathetic and takes extra care of everything. The place is best for those who want to escape the city life and want to spend a few days in the middle of nowhere in the woods surrounded by alpacas while having access to comfortable rooms and extremely good and reasonably priced dinners and breakfasts.

    We had an amazing stay here. The place was perfectly located for us and the owner was incredibly accommodating to our dietary requirements (one coeliac) and needs.     There's an physical rehabilitation center in the town, mostly seniors who are ill. With 270 deg of fabulous often snow covered mountains, I wouldn't want to get well too quickly. All Italian but still very Alpine charm, just on the edge of the Sud Tirol area with 3000m+ mountains in the backdrop.

    Fantastic location for family skiing. Saves you driving to the lifts. Most of the lifts and slopes connect so good choice of runs and making good value of ski pass. Plenty opportunities for shopping and dining although can get busy/oversubscribed and times so reserving tables highly recommended.

    1. Hotel has a retreat setting. Cozy, quiet. It's good for a few days stay to escape the daily stress. Food at hotel could be better. Bare spread of breakfast buffet. Amenities is a good 15-20minutes car ride away. Not so convenient.

    This is a lovely town with lots of little shops to potter...

    This is a lovely town with lots of little shops to potter around. The hot chocolate and cakes in Piccolo Bar amazing! People in general were very friendly. Nice restaurants and Pizzerias. Even if you are not skiing, a trip on the gondola and cable car to Rosetta Col is spectacular for the views panoramic views and the little cafe there.

    We came to San Martono di Castrozza to trek in the surrounding mountains with the family and the area did not disappoint, we found hiking routes of intermediate difficulty and had a great time. The food in the area was really good too, would defineately come back
