Amazing Hotel in best place, good parking inside the area and also not far to the city himself. We got a room in the adjoining building, but it was also spectacular in quantity and quality. The surrounding of the hotel was lovely and clean with pool and daybeds. From this place we visited the Sanremo Golf club and for a daytrip also Monaco, which was amazing. We enjoyed the stay and we will back soon and maybe some other people I talked to.

    Location was perfect, wonderful view of the harbour from our lovely balcony. The room was compact yet having enough space for a bed, wardrobe, fridge, and kettle. The bedroom had an ensuite which was also compact. Bath towels, hand towels and face cloth provided. The rooms, and building surrounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Gloria our host was very welcoming and informative of our location and town. San Lorenzo al Mare is definitely worth walking through with quirky streets which lead down to the beach

    This was a 10/10 stay. Francesca was beyond lovely, she was so friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions really fast on the app. Our dogs were welcome, and they gave us dog beds and dog bowls! What a lovely touch! Francesca then helped us find somewhere open for dinner. The room was big, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. Grazie Mille Francesca!

    Beautiful traditional Italian seaside town with plenty of...

    Beautiful traditional Italian seaside town with plenty of interesting things to visit. La Pigna (the old town) is an interesting climb through small alleyways and gates. The Russian Orthodox church is small but perfectly formed. Villa Nobel is an interesting science museum & a beautiful villa to see from the outside. There is a 30km cycle and walking track running along the seafront, an old converted train track with plenty of cycle hire places along the way. Plenty of nice places nearby if you have a hire car. Steer clear of the Casino - it's tacky and full of slot machines.

    it is a historic town with old buildings, au on a heel, like a fortress. Unfortunately the buildings are not renovated and most of them look pretty bad. Otherwise it is a typical italian area (the old town) where you can see the way they live, the. way they interact with eachother. The overall town is beautiful, on the seaside, with nice people.

    The two halves of Imperia - Oneglia and Porto Maurizio - are different and both are worth exploring on foot. Lots of historic streets and coastal and mountain views. Porto Maurizio has a self guiding tour with information boards to follow. Imperia isn’t too big or busy which was nice for us. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Villa Grock clown museum was bizarrely fascinating and well worth the walk up the steep hill. It has a cafe to reward your effort! The new cycleway looks worth investigating if you have a spare half day or day.

    There is not much to see in terms of sightseeing but it's a good place for a short beach vacation. The restaurants are only located either in the hotel or in the town center and parking is almost impossible to find.

    The place is nice. Unfortunately there aren’t many vegetarian options in the restaurants available. The trainstation is close and gives you the option to go to France or towards Genoa. There are a lot of restaurants and nice walking paths.

    Quaint town. Organised sunbeds on the beach, don't know it there is a charge. Range of bars and restaurant. Not over commercialised. If you are looking for a special meal then Hotel Anthurium is the place to go

    Nice beaches, not so crowded.

    Nice beaches, not so crowded. Great place to rent a bicycle and ride the route by the seaside. Good food and drink at reasonable prices. Walking is the best way to get around. Driving through San Remo is a mess.

    Sanremo city itself is very disappointing.

    Sanremo city itself is very disappointing. Streets and sea promenade are very dirty, stinky and overcrowded, sea is green, polluted, swimming caused allergies on my skin. The air in the city is extremely polluted as well: a lot of bikes and cars, very stressful. Food in the restaurants is not tasty, average, in some of them it is impossible to eat at all. I don't recommend to visit Sanremo to anyone, because it is waste of money, spoiled vacation, for a crazy big price.

    It is nice and relaxing to stay in the old town, as well as near the centre for the train station. You see both sides of the same town and the 2 languages of Italian and French (I speak both, so this is great). I think Ventimiglia is a hidden gem - very close to both Sanremo and Menton! Great!

    lovely easy going place to visit, not overly populated with tourists. If you are relying on public transport you might be dissappointed with the availability of buses or taxis when you want them. Having a little Italian will go along way but dont expect everyone you meet to understand english.
