- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,349 reviewsWe really enjoyed our stay at Perdepera Resort. We went there for our honeymoon and asked for something special to be prepared – we were very happy with what we found waiting for us. During our stay we tried different activities: a relaxing massage and we also booked a boat trip through the resort (extra cost, but they arranged everything for us). The à la carte dinner is also worth recommending, very good food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not everyone speaks English, but it was never a big issue, and I even got to practice some of the Italian words I knew. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend Perdepera Resort.Guest review byMegyesiRomania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 400 reviewsReally lovely resort hotel, tucked into the hills above Pula in beautiful natural surroundings, just a few minutes from the beach. This hotel saved us, as we had booked another hotel nearby but detected bedbugs at it upon arrival and had to leave! We ended up at Is Molas quite late at night, but luckily they were able to accommodate us, even giving us an upgraded room and arranging for toasties at the bar, as we had missed dinner due to all the drama at the other hotel. Truly an oasis for us, very peaceful and it was great to spend the next day just relaxing in the hotel grounds after the travails of the day before!Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 734 reviewsAmazing location, the property is massive. They were very quick to replace a broken air conditioner and 2 non-functioning refrigerators. Rooms were spotless. Nice pools and beaches everywhere, all were clean and with lifeguards. Breakfast wasn't bad and included cook to order. Everyone was friendly and no wait to check in, they give you a van from your car to the room at checkin and checkout. Drink and food prices are on par with everywhere else. Even includes a wildlife area with horses, donkeys, sheep, etc - great walking with views before it gets too hot in the morning.Guest review byJamieUnited States
- From $149.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 441 reviewsWe had a lovely apartment which had direct access to the pool and cafe. The pool was lovely, having shaded areas at all times of the day and different depths depending on your needs. The location was a 10min walk up into town and 10min walk to the beach, where they have their own private access with sunbeds to use. The main bedroom has its own ensuite and walk in wardrobe and there was a seperate communal bathroom. Staff were lovely, accomodating our needs with using the facilities for the day we checked out.Guest review byAliceUnited Kingdom

We visited Alghero in the second part of August which is a top season for Italians vacationing. The town was packed but not overcrowded. You could easily find a spot at the beach, which is long and sandy. The rental of the sunbeds with umbrella was in average 30 E for two sunbeds. The town is very close to the airport - about 5 miles and a short taxi ride. We loved combining glimpse into the history in the old town and enjoying beautiful beach during the day. In the evening hours the restaurants were full (Italians eat very very late 10-11) so plan to make a reservation ahead of time if you don't want long wait. We also visited the most beautiful beach La Pelosa which is about an hour north from Alghero and the town of Sassari, another old town in the inland. Overall we are planning to return, as we had a great time in Alghero.Guest review byJasmina - 10.0

Easy to get to the beaches by bus - tickets from local Tabac need to be validated by machine as you enter the bus. Very hilly but location of apartment is half way so it’s easy to go up for the historical sights and down for the port, marina, bus and train stations.Guest review byKymUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Its a great place to stay to discover the area (east side of the island), its right in the middle to visit La Magdalena and Oroseo Gulf. There is plenty of restaurants and things to do/visit. The beaches around the city were great as well (pitulongu, port istana). There are not a lot of parking places around so you might need to drive for a while and "fight" for a spot.Guest review byLucasSpain - 6.0

It's a beautiful place but it was very obvious that most of the locals were not super thrilled about the tourists and they took a lot of opportunities to overcharge and scam us, particularly at some restaurants. Please note that some people were very kind and welcoming but that wasn't common unfortunately. I wish I could say I loved San Teodoro but I had a much nicer time in Olbia.Guest review byLilianAustralia - 10.0

We have stayed in other very nice resorts and hotels with robust amenities throughout Sardinia and this was easily our favorite one. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. In addition to the hotel, we loved touring around Capo Testa and spent a lot of time in Santa Teresa which is a very charming town near the hotel. Next time we will spend more time at the beaches since an injury prevented us from navigating the rocky beach.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 6.0

Great location for a number of beautiful beaches and a lively town with some very good restaurants but if you want to explore the area further a car is essential Sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach are quite expensive so it’s worth taking towels and chairs if you canGuest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The best place in Sardinia.
The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. Taking a boat trip for a day is also a must! Would strongly recommend spending a few days in La Maddalena!Guest review byTameshaNorway - 8.0

We highly recommend Palau for its great connections to La Maddalena – just a 20–25 minute ferry ride, with departures every 30 minutes. Once on La Maddalena, we rented a rubber boat (gommoni) to explore the rest of the paradise-like islands, so the location turned out to be a perfect choice.Guest review byAlejandraSwitzerland - 10.0

Castelsardo itself is an interesting small city with its castle and round streets. Hikers and people doing "steps" should love hundreds of steers and narrow uphill streets, especially in the rather well preserved tower area. And, it hides so good seafood restaurants with spectacular views. I thought I had it all already, yet we were seriously surprised of the food and service quality. Sure, tripadvisor points tell the story. Yet in some cities you could find pizza kiosks also with ratings like 4.8, so watch out. Trekking and hiking roads are also near by. Beware of review dates. Some are full of bushes, still not cleaned, so it took us 3 tryouts to find a decent track. Most of these tracks are unmarked. Would be hard to find these if you have experienced German way of marking tracks.Guest review byMikk OrglaanEstonia
