- From $225.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 324 reviewsThe resort is situated in a beautiful location with volcanoe , Mt Etna always in one’s view. The hotel and golf course are worth the some what stressful drive up to it’s location. Hotel staff were professional, friendly, and caring to guests needs. Food was delicious with reasonable rates. Room with a breathe taking view of a plush vineyard. Ok the golf course. Great staff. Course is in great shape. Greens hard and fast. Fairways mostly narrow bordered by old in bloom leaves. Very little water. Only issue of concern was that fact of two free roaming dogs which I saw running on the back nine. Golf staff assured me both friendly farm dogs. I highly recommend the hotel and golf course.Guest review byBruanUnited States

It is right on the beach and off the beaten path. The patios and pools around the property are really beautiful. Had an all inclusive style buffet restaurant and an accessible bar. Rooms were great. The staff were all fantastic also. Parking included on site as well as access to shuttles. We stayed here when we flew in and right before we flew out and will stay here again next time.Guest review byLanceUnited States

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 102 reviewsFor those who like newer facilities, the hotel was modern and had a lovely spa. The rooms were huge with state of the art showers. We were most impressed with the hotel manager, Girolamo Liga, who took the time to explain the hotel amenities and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We totally appreciated his excellent professionalism.Guest review byJimCanada
- From $580.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,261 reviewsEverything. The hotel is STUNNING. The private beach is a must and even if the hotel is the best in the area, it doesn’t feel crowded or busy. They are kind enough to have a shuttle bus to the city that goes there several times a day (and yes, the city is extremely crowded thanks to the White Lotus fame). This hotel is an oasis of tranquility.Guest review bySaraBrazil

Great number of historical sites of various eras, many nice parks and horticultural places, street traffic is classical Sicily style (😄), however famous street food district is not to my taste (too messy, dirty, dubious freshness..)Guest review byAlbinaSlovenia - 4.0
The place is filthy. Streets full of rubbish.
The place is filthy. Streets full of rubbish. Graffiti on most of the buildings, Some buildings look abandoned, then you see people coming out of them. I don't know how they live there. It's a pity since they are so antique. Would be beautiful if cared for. Not to mention the people. They try to rip you off all the time. Especially taxi drivers. Tourists need to be super cautious. And the traffic is horrible. You have to pay attention how you cross the road even though you are on a zebra crossing. They keep driving no matter what. If you go to the beach you get annoyed by the multiple individuals trying to sell you something or even give you a message. They don't leave you in peace. Two restaurants we loved were Cafe/Restaurant Duomo and D.O.C. Nice food and atmosphere. I highly reccomend. There are nice places for shopping too. Via Etnea full of shops, porte Di Catania and centro Sicilia excellent spots. I reccomend Etnapolis and Etnaland too. There is an awsome open air market everyday not to be missed. Not to mention Etna, a must go.Guest review byMiriamMalta - 10.0
Syracuse is packed with ancient Greek history and mythology.
Syracuse is packed with ancient Greek history and mythology. The island of Ortygia needs a full day on its own. The Archaeology museum is excellent, informative (and not dumbed down like so many these days) and the Greek theatre in the archaeological park is magnificent. With a car you get to Noto which is a baroque jewel, or with a longer drive (2-3 hrs) you can reach the best Roman mosaics in the world at Piazza Armerina or the temples at Agrigento. By the way eating on Ortygia is a bit of a tourist experience: hard to avoid tiresome musicians who spoil your conversation for half an hour and then expect a tip.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Taormina was lovely, I would definitely recommend going to anyone. I would also recommend comfy walking shoes as a lot of it is up and down and to be aware that the public transport isn’t anyways reliable and to maybe bare this in mind when needed to get to trips as we almost missed a couple of our trips due to the buses not turning up. But overall Iv loved visiting Taormina.Guest review bySophieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A charming city with great restaurants and sights. It was just very crowded in August. We had the best meal at 22 Cucina Isolana recommended by our hotel. for a less crowded beach area, we walked to the other end of the beach and spent a day at Lido EoloGuest review byNataliaUnited States - 10.0

Great base for day trips (to Erice/Egadi Islands/even Marsala), but the city itself is worth visiting! A very walkable location, especially from where we stayed [SAT Appartamenti Locazioni turistiche brevi-G&P]. We were told to try Busiate so we did in so many different styles haha. We ate these seasoned fried chick pea patties that looked like fried halloumi or tofu that had we not spoken to our hosts we would not have known what we were eating! I left this too late and can't recall everything... Spectacular views as per for Sicily. We happened to be there for the opening of "Radio Mare" this cute cafe that becomes a hi-fi listening bar in the eveniing... super vibey, defo check it out. Every shop and restaurant we stumbled in was worth visiting. It was a lively city that was a good blend of tourist and locals!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Indications for people who driving there are poor, I was lost, I pass in front the entrance without realizing it, poor indicators. I stop and I find another car lost too. The car parking too expensive, the entrance tickets expensive, I went really early before there were too many people, I was able to take selfies for the more important monuments without any wait line. You must be ready with plenty of water, if you are going in summer time because its a really long walk under very strong summer lights. I guess you must see it at least once on your life, like everything relevant from our pass times. Obviously I am a simply tourist without knowledge about architecture. For those that understand I am sure must be fascinating.Guest review byencarniUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful town, full of life at night.
Beautiful town, full of life at night. Easily walkable, flat streets. Beach is nice and long, with multiple free areas. It's a gorgeous scene with the huge mountains, and lighthouse at the other end. It is definitely more of a touristy feel, as we went in August. Definitely explore up and down the peninsula, as there's excellent beaches and coves to swim at as well!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding towns are, however,...
Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding towns are, however, unusually dirty, with a lot of litter scattered along the streets. The beach, on the other hand, has wonderfully clean and clear water. People are helpful. Traveling around, take time. The only rush is in traffic. If you travel by rental car, it helps to have a good map reader in the passenger seat and a calm mind. Honking is simply a part of the traffic culture. A motorcyclist may pass you on either the right or the left. Focus on the traffic is the most important thing. When choosing a rental car, you should go for one with medium power. Otherwise, it may not make it up the hills. We had a Toyota Yaris 1500 Petrol Hybrid Automatic. It was ok. An automatic gearbox makes driving easier.Guest review byMarikaEstonia - 8.0
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place. It was a very friendly environment, and unlike the main island, there was no trash littering the area. It was great to see that the main mode of transportation there was by bicycles. The food was also great, but it was a bit overpriced.Guest review byNunoPortugal
