- From $244.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 321 reviewsThe resort is situated in a beautiful location with volcanoe , Mt Etna always in one’s view. The hotel and golf course are worth the some what stressful drive up to it’s location. Hotel staff were professional, friendly, and caring to guests needs. Food was delicious with reasonable rates. Room with a breathe taking view of a plush vineyard. Ok the golf course. Great staff. Course is in great shape. Greens hard and fast. Fairways mostly narrow bordered by old in bloom leaves. Very little water. Only issue of concern was that fact of two free roaming dogs which I saw running on the back nine. Golf staff assured me both friendly farm dogs. I highly recommend the hotel and golf course.Guest review byBruanUnited States
- From $317.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 481 reviewsI cannot rate this hotel and it's staff high enough. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough to help us. I have never experienced a hotel with calibre of staff. The hotel reception and terrace is lovely as are the rooms, beds are very comfortable. The beach is beautiful, with lovely clear water and we were the only ones on there for my morning swim. Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this hotel but I would definately come back for a longer holiday.Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom

The staff were all fantastic also. Parking included on site as well as access to shuttles. We stayed here when we flew in and right before we flew out and will stay here again next time.Guest review byLanceUnited States

The hotel was immaculate.Beautiful marble everywhere.
The hotel was immaculate.Beautiful marble everywhere. Also, the staff was exceptionally good! Super helpful and kind. Especially Giuseppe and Farhana, they went above and beyond to improve our stay any way they could. The only negative thing was that the website for the hotel promised free wifi and when we got there there was NO WIFI in the rooms. There was free wifi but only in the hotel lobby (which, even though it was elegant, was quite small)Guest review byGregoryCanada - 4.0
The place is filthy. Streets full of rubbish.
The place is filthy. Streets full of rubbish. Graffiti on most of the buildings, Some buildings look abandoned, then you see people coming out of them. I don't know how they live there. It's a pity since they are so antique. Would be beautiful if cared for. Not to mention the people. They try to rip you off all the time. Especially taxi drivers. Tourists need to be super cautious. And the traffic is horrible. You have to pay attention how you cross the road even though you are on a zebra crossing. They keep driving no matter what. If you go to the beach you get annoyed by the multiple individuals trying to sell you something or even give you a message. They don't leave you in peace. Two restaurants we loved were Cafe/Restaurant Duomo and D.O.C. Nice food and atmosphere. I highly reccomend. There are nice places for shopping too. Via Etnea full of shops, porte Di Catania and centro Sicilia excellent spots. I reccomend Etnapolis and Etnaland too. There is an awsome open air market everyday not to be missed. Not to mention Etna, a must go.Guest review byMiriamMalta - 10.0

Beautiful town on the hillside with fantastic views from the cable car, public gardens and other areas. Lots of shops for those wishing to buy clothes, lots of places to eat and drink. Cable car essential and cheap. Lots of accommodation available, would chose this area rather than "the other side of the road", Mazzaro quite small.Guest review byjanis57United Kingdom - 10.0
The Old Town was great.
The Old Town was great. Loved walking around the little streets, going to the Cathedral and the nearby Mandralisca Museum. Had gelato every day. The marzipan fruits looked beautiful and tasted great. While there were quite a few tourists there, it didn't feel overcrowded. Down the main street but a bit out of the Old Town (but still within walking distance) were a children's clothing shop and an adult and childrenswear shop that had T shirts that were a reasonable price to take home to family - not like the expensive souvenir ones. A man in a tourist shop told us about them.Guest review byHazelAustralia - 10.0

Great base for day trips (to Erice/Egadi Islands/even Marsala), but the city itself is worth visiting! A very walkable location, especially from where we stayed [SAT Appartamenti Locazioni turistiche brevi-G&P]. We were told to try Busiate so we did in so many different styles haha. We ate these seasoned fried chick pea patties that looked like fried halloumi or tofu that had we not spoken to our hosts we would not have known what we were eating! I left this too late and can't recall everything... Spectacular views as per for Sicily. We happened to be there for the opening of "Radio Mare" this cute cafe that becomes a hi-fi listening bar in the eveniing... super vibey, defo check it out. Every shop and restaurant we stumbled in was worth visiting. It was a lively city that was a good blend of tourist and locals!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The Valley of the Temples is a good reason for visiting Agrigento - otherwise there is not much to the town. Lots of streets with steps in the Old Town (which is much more interesting to stay in) as it covers a big hill. You need to catch a taxi to get from the town to the temple site, but it is certainly worthwhile to go there.Guest review byHazelAustralia - 10.0
Beautiful town, full of life at night.
Beautiful town, full of life at night. Easily walkable, flat streets. Beach is nice and long, with multiple free areas. It's a gorgeous scene with the huge mountains, and lighthouse at the other end. It is definitely more of a touristy feel, as we went in August. Definitely explore up and down the peninsula, as there's excellent beaches and coves to swim at as well!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Alot of people do not speak english, and everything there including street sign are in ilalian. Had an excustion to the godfather on a hop on hop off bus(green) I had ordered from Get Your Guide and went 2 hours early and the direction they gave us was wrong and couldnt find the place for pick up in mountain. Had no wifi on my phone, even when i paid extra to get itWIFI on my phone. Tried to ask people but on one knew where to go. Traffic was terrible where the address was to pick up. So i ended up not making the excurion, and company is not giving me a refund. Also the rest RISTORANTE SABBIE D' ORO charged us $162.00(euro) for a 1 lobster. They stood over us until we order, couldnt speak english and the menu said 18 euros for a one lobster, thought that was a good price. Pressed us with extra stuff we did not want to order, because we could not understand them. Then we go to pay there system was down and couldnt take no visa or MC. Our bill was $350 eros. We had to go to atm machine and they charged us $75 to take money out of machine. BAD EXPERINCE!!!!!! I would suggest not to go there.Guest review byCindyUnited States - 8.0
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place. It was a very friendly environment, and unlike the main island, there was no trash littering the area. It was great to see that the main mode of transportation there was by bicycles. The food was also great, but it was a bit overpriced.Guest review byNunoPortugal
