- From US$297.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 164 reviewsThe hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained surroundings. The outdoor terrace and relaxation areas around the property are perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery. The SPA is excellent, featuring an indoor hot tub, two saunas, and peaceful relaxation areas, plus an outdoor swimming pool. What truly stood out, however, were the staff and the food. We chose the half-board option and were grateful for it every evening—the breakfasts were fabulous with high-quality ingredients, and the dinners were absolutely superb. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. A lovely bonus is the complimentary organized hiking groups—we joined one and had a wonderful experience. Overall, a fantastic stay we’d happily recommend!Guest review byVeselinBulgaria
- From US$899.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 87 reviewsWe have been in Alpenschlössl in December 2022. Very clean, good spa area with attentive personnel. This part of hotel is great for people who wants to have more calm atmosphere than in the main building. By the way very good quality of manicure, a that is rare to find. Takes time but worth it 100%. Cool bar with view, a cocktails and intertainment. I have forgotten my belongings in the room and they were sent directly home. Service was great!Guest review byNataliaGermany

The city is incredibly charming, with a vibe that feels much more Austrian than Italian. It’s also surrounded by plenty of beautiful hikes (which I wish I’d had time to do!). I only stayed for two days, and while one day is enough to see the city itself, the real highlight is exploring the trails and nature nearby. The food is distinctly Austrian, hearty and delicious, and the bakeries are absolutely fantastic.Guest review byLuiza - 10.0

There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0

This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with lots of really nice local bakers, and shops selling cheese, wine, speck and chocolate - plus the usual supermarkets, pharmacies and places where you can get all your hiking and walking gear. Try strolling along all the narrow streets that lead off the main square to see what's there. A really pleasant and slightly longer walk to take is by following the path along the river to the nearby Neustift/Novacella Abbey where you can try the excellent wine they make there (the local grape varieties are Kerner and Sylvaner) and cheese.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The town is the perfect location to explore the Dolomites.
The town is the perfect location to explore the Dolomites. Hotels and Apartments are plentiful and in every price level. You can choose from so many hikes (all different levels) you can fill 3 weeks. Depending what other locations are on your itinerary, 3 days allow you to see the highlights and get a sense of the beauty of the Dolomites. Yet, it's easy to fill a week. Summer like winter.Guest review byMichaelGermany - 10.0

Because of the two gondolas accessible in town, we were able to explore both sides and experience a variety of terrain, none extremely challenging which worked for our various fitness levels. The views are stupendous and the convenience of the huts along the trails for lunch, a drink or even a break from the rain were fantastic. We didn't need to worry about packing snacks or lunches, and instead enjoyed reasonably priced, delicious meals along our hikes.Guest review byCarmenUnited States - 10.0

Nice and clean apartment. Even we only had contact with the host via the chat, the host was very helpful though. The location of apartment was perfect. It's located in the city center. Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.
Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.Guest review byJurajCroatia - 10.0
Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town.
Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.Guest review byMonica - 10.0
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.Guest review byDavidUnited States
