- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 700 reviewsIt was a beautiful oasis in the middle of not much, but only five minutes drive from the Temples. The staff were just wonderful. Helpful, friendly, although very little English for us anglophiles but that’s our fault not know Italian! The restaurant and meals is superb and I wanted to take the gentlemanny Marco and the effervescent Salvatore home with me, they made dining all so much more enjoyable. To dine outside would be magic but, unfortunately, we had just enough rain to make that not possible.Guest review byVirginiaNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,471 reviewsWe had a short 4 day trip to Sicilia. This hotel was the best of all for us. The beach close to the hotel is absolutely great. Otherwise there's not a lot of action / bars in the vicinity of the hotel. Nevertheless the hotel is really great, nature and beaches around too! Absolutely recommended!Guest review byMartinAustria

Free parking on the premises. The room was big, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was typical Italian with many options. The design was heavy but it suits the hotel perfectly.Guest review byArgyriUnited Kingdom

Lots of steep streets and alleyways but didn't get lost! Best to visit the Valley of the Temples early in the day before it gets too hot. Make sure you wear a hat and have plenty of water. Take the time to visit the town, especially the cathedral and greek churchGuest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Nice little town... a bit grubby, but like so many Sicilian coastal towns... and so much rubbish on the side of the streets leading into and out of town A good selection of restaurants, a fantastic cocktail bar right on the Marina called Cellaro... highly recommend this place for Aperitivo.Guest review byJacquelineSouth Africa - 10.0

Central location that has friendly people and a beautiful marina that serves as a morning walk in addition to the boardwalk. We had beautiful weather and were treated to amazing breakfasts by our host & hostess. Grazie Emma!Guest review byCinzUnited States - 8.0

Indications for people who driving there are poor, I was lost, I pass in front the entrance without realizing it, poor indicators. I stop and I find another car lost too. The car parking too expensive, the entrance tickets expensive, I went really early before there were too many people, I was able to take selfies for the more important monuments without any wait line. You must be ready with plenty of water, if you are going in summer time because its a really long walk under very strong summer lights. I guess you must see it at least once on your life, like everything relevant from our pass times. Obviously I am a simply tourist without knowledge about architecture. For those that understand I am sure must be fascinating.Guest review byencarniUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Seems a more working town with port and tower blocks in upper town but there is a good brach and pedestrianised main street full of bars and restaurants , we grabbed the last un reserved table at one and watched town passagiata.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We arrived from the Netherlands, but we both are Hungarians, so we needed to get used with the Italian lifestyle, like the siesta time, when there almost nothing is opened to get some food or drink. In exchange the places like restaurants are opened till late night. You also need to pay attention during riding by car, the traffic a little bit hectic, but it is easy too deal with it.Guest review byAuroraMoonNetherlands - 6.0
My hosts were great.
My hosts were great. When returning from Salle del Turchi, some man wasn’t paying attention and opened his car door as I was passing and I was going slow as there was traffic, and the rental is scratched significantly and I will most likely have to pay for repairs. People drive way too fast. It’s an ok place to visit. If I had planned exactly what to do, besides the Temple ruins, it would have been better.Guest review byRobbinUnited States - 6.0

Winter is definitely not a good time to visit San Leone as most of it is closed. It looked run-down and in need of a face lift. There was litter everywhere. The roads and pavements are all in urgent need of repair, with serious potholes and uneven surfaces, but this endemic in Sicily. San Leone is very convenient for the valley of the temples.Guest review byGordonUnited Kingdom
