- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 888 reviewsThe hotel's atmosphere is magnificent!!! The scent of lemon coming from the incredible garden, the restaurant with DELICIOUS dishes prepared with the utmost care, the extremely friendly and polite staff, the Wi-Fi signal, the comfort of the bed, the temperature, the shower, the careful lighting, the spectacular and comfortable bed linen, in every little detail EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL!!! I intend to return to Pompeii because of the experience I had at the hotel. I traveled with my 12-year-old son.Guest review bypatriciacunha2020Brazil
- From US$284.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 984 reviewsWe were very impressed by the value for money and the staff! The team there Franz, Tonia, Marco and Alessandra went over and beyond every day to make our stay the BEST. They even let my daughter have extra pie and booked a nail appointment for my other daughter in the next city we were visiting as it was her birthday and there were no appointments in Pompei so they booked it in Amalfi for us. We loved the horses and the small farm. The meal at the restaurant was delicious.Guest review byJodySwitzerland
- From US$129.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 296 reviewsI had an emergency situation and found myself looking for a hotel at midnight. I was welcomed at Villa Colombia with a level of professionalism, discretion and politeness that is today hard to find. I ended up staying two days, the service was always great, the room was very comfortable and beautiful, the building is gorgeous and surrounded by trees and with two swimming pools to start or end the day with a quick plunge and some sun bathing.Guest review bySaraPortugal
- From US$140.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 821 reviewsVilla Signorini is a beautiful 18th century villa located in the so-called Golden Mile, just a stone throw from the archaeological site of Herculaneum. From the hotel it is just a short travel with the train both to Naples as well as to Pompeii and you can even reach Sorrento in about 1,5 hours from here. The rooms are kept in good condition and the staff is welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our 12 days stay there.Guest review byMarkusAustria
- From US$97.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 173 reviewsPerfect location for our stay and the staff were excellent. The breakfasts were a help yourself buffet with plenty of choice. The evening meals were exceptionally tasty and filling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was only a few minutes from the train station that enabled us to go further afield if we didn't wish to use the hire car. Also walking distance to the Pompeii ruins. Just perfect!Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom

Lovely town with great resturants and the Archaeological site of Pompeii , plus 3 train stations which allowed travel to Herculaneum, Sorrento, Naples and Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. A great central location. We used the beaches at Vico Esquerence as they were a lot cleaner that those at Castlemmare Di Stabi, but we did food shopping at Lidl there and the shopping Center in Pompeii was a treat.Guest review bySarah Blewer-BurmanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It’s not the most beautiful town but the view from our appartment had beautiful views of the bay of Naples for a lot less than you pay in Sorrento. It’s a very good spot to catch the train to Pompeii ( the ruins are right beside Pompeii Scavi station change at Torre de Annunziata) Sorrento, Vesuvius and the stunning Herculaneum. There are plenty of great places to eat and a few volcanic sand beaches to relax after a long walk up a volcano. We enjoyed our pizzas at RoVi and walked into Portici for drinks at Vivarium’s rooftop bar and a fantastic seafood tasting menu at Da Guisieppe al GranatelloGuest review byAnne-Marie - 8.0
The breakfast and dinners were very good.
The breakfast and dinners were very good. The hotel was very nice as well the pool. The location was also ideal for us, as it was easy to reach the city and other interested places e.g. Vesuvius, Pompei etc. There was even a direct boat to Capri daily.Guest review byMattiFinland - 8.0

It was close to a train line and it was easy to get to Naples. Also the location was good as it was in the middle and we could go to Naples and to Amalfi coast, Pompeii from here with little problem. The traffic in Naples is chaos so it was good that we could get there by train and then use the metro from there.Guest review byIgorSlovenia - 10.0
The town is very nice with a wonderful beach.
The town is very nice with a wonderful beach. I read reviews like the beach and sea water are dirty but that's not true at all. The means of transport are trains that depart from 2 train stations: Oplonti and Central. The food is different at affordable prices.Guest review byGabrielaRomania - 10.0
Smallish town with magnificent church.
Smallish town with magnificent church. Lots of services available and in a strategically convenient location between Sorrento and Napoli. Long pedestrian only area. Fresh, very fresh food, OYSTERS, cheerful residents.Guest review byMargaret De GregorioCanada - 8.0
This area was quite calm in comparison to Pompeii or Naples.
This area was quite calm in comparison to Pompeii or Naples. A big advantage are the views of the sea and the surrounding towns, and you can also see Mount Vesuvius. The roads were broken in places and very dirty full of rubbish, which is typical of all the nearby towns. For traveling with a smaller car it is OK, with a bigger car I would be afraid of the narrows and wild traffic.Guest review byAlesCzech Republic - 10.0
Great place for trips around.
Great place for trips around. Great transport accessibility by train to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum. It is a clean city according to local customs. There are many shops and services available. The location is very well accessible from the airport (by car 15 minutes, if there is no rush hour).Guest review byPavelCzech Republic - 8.0

The hotel is an Italian villa built in 1711, with a lot of Baroque decoration in the building and surrounding park. Our room (a junior suite) was large, with a small balcony and separated bathroom/toilet. We even had a jacuzzi bath, functioning. The fittings however were oldish and the provided amenities did not live up to a 5 star hotel standard. Breakfast was decent but monotonous, again not living up to a 5 star hotel standard. The hotel is a venue for social events (marriages, birthdays etc) involving a high level of noise, loud music and fireworks most of the nights (in our case 8 out of the 9 nights we spent there) up to well past 11 pm and sometimes later. Take this in consideration if you like to come to an oasis of calm and serenity after a long day in the Italian heat. You'll not find it in this hotel. Parking is available and free even if crowded at evenings with the vehicles of the guests to one of the events. The pool is nice looking but I never saw one person using it and there always was an underwater cleaning robot doing its thing in the morning. It seems the pool is more of a decorative item than a usable guest amenity. All things considered our stay at the hotel was pleasant, the evening noise bearable with the help of ear plugs and the TV allowed me to connect an Amazon FireTV stick and enjoy my favourite entertainment without being restricted to Italian TV programs.Guest review byAdrianBelgium - 10.0

Download the App for the Pompeii site, with map, info and audio guides; so very easy for DIY tourists. The buses to Mt Vesuvius a little bit confused. Fare varies but not by a significant amount. Stops not clear but Pompei is a small city and so manageable as a DIY trip.Guest review bykkwkkwHong Kong
