- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 345 reviewsThis was such an incredible hotel. What made it MOST incredible was the staff. From the breakfast staff, to the car driver to the front desk staff, they are so incredibly warm, sweet, helpful, professional. I was actually a little sad to leave mainly because of them. They were so amazing to my son, that he misses them too. I spent my bday here and they really went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make it an incredible birthday. They TRULY understand what it means to be in the hospitality business. The owner needs to give them all a raise!!! Also, the location is beyond perfect! I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Vulcano.Guest review byConnieUnited States
- From US$79.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 263 reviewsEverything was fantastic! Set on a hill, surrounded by pine trees, Villa Crimi is a peaceful and quiet place, just a short walk away from Vulcano Porto, with a beautiful private terrace, a charming room with renovated bathroom facilities; breakfast is served on the terrace. A great family-run place; the owner was very kind and attentive and picked me up at the port on arrival and brought me back to the port at the end of my stay. Highly recommended — grazie mille e alla prossima!Guest review byKatharinaAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 205 reviewsBecause of a "plumbing issue" we were rebooked to "Mari del Sud" Resort. From the outside it looked like the neighbouring Hotel Garden has shut down forever. So we got a free Upgrade, thank you for that. Special thanks to the extremely lovely and helpful staff at Mari del Sud, who made us enjoy our stay even more: Valentina, another young gentlemen whose name i didnt catch unfortunately but who was very helpful arranging a boattour and Ygoro.Guest review byStefanAustria
- From US$82.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 104 reviewsWe were very surprised by the quality of the furnishings, particularly the bathroom, which was brand-new and comfortable. Allhough we chose the smallest room, it was big enough to fit three people comfortably. The balcony was great for an evening chill. After seing the rest of the harbour area we agreed that the location couldn't be better. The owner responded flexibly and was very helpful with storing the luggage before the check-in.Guest review byJoannaPoland
- From US$99.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 396 reviewsGreat place to stay at vulcano, near Porto Levante, but there is no smell of sulfur. The kitchen, which is out of the room, is fully equipped. Breakfast looks great, but we don't take it. Very clean place. On the roof top You have here table, chairs, and Ypu can watch goat on the vulcano Ora see and chill. Highly recommend. Room and place around looks better in real life than on the photos.Guest review byPawełPoland

Incredible wee island.
Incredible wee island. Loved that you could cycle everywhere easily, there were lots of mini adventures to be had e.g. Vulcanello crater, snokelling, Monte Saraceno, Capo Grillo viewpoint & of course the Vulcano crater hike. Lots of great places to eat, cute, off the beaten track feel. We loved how quiet everywhere was in October.Guest review bykatherineUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love Volcano.
I love Volcano. The relaxed, laid-back atmosphere has brought me back half a dozen times and it never fails to delight. Sadly Maurizio's restaurant is no longer in operation but there are still some other places to eat that don't disappoint. Walking up the volcano is always fun, though they have restricted access to the zone of the fumaroles now, and the mud-pools have been closed completely. I was told this is because they have got too hot. We also went to visit the cat colony who are situated on Vulcanello, and was pleased to see that they have been moved to more comfortable quarters. Swimming in the sea - especially where it's sprinkled with hot bubbles - is always a delight. The Spiaggia Nera (black-sand beach) has not hot bubbles but is really pleasant. My only gripe with Vulcano (and the whole of Sicily) is that there is too much litter everywhere. It could really do with a good clean-up. The friendly, relaxed people go a long way towards making up for it ... maybe if they weren't so relaxed they would organise some clean-ups!Guest review byWendy TeasdillUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The Spiaggia delle Acque Calde is a must-go place, probably the only place in the world with sulphuric gas coming out from the seabed to warm the water like a natural jacuzzi. The mudpool next to it is also very good, it might look dirty from outside but once you are in it, it gets less smelly of sulphur and you feel like having a caffe latte bath!Guest review byRWUnited Kingdom
