Excellent stay at Jay's Guest House in Blue Mountain. Pick up in Kingston and drop off in Bull Bay. The Hike to Blue Mountain Peak was quite tuff but the goal was 100 % worth it. Jay's family and the staff including the guide and driver to the peak did excellent jobs to make our 2 nights stay at Jay's to a nonforgettable memory to put in our travel experience.

We felt like royalty for a couple of days. We were greeted by the most pleasant  staff from we entered the property. The front desk staff ensured we got to our rooms with no issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. We loved that it was to order and not buffet. Our server Ryan gave us 5 star service for 2 days. Overall, it was a great place for any kind of getaway

The staff was very friendly, courteous and very helpful. They assisted in making contact with the raftman and the taxi man who transported us to and from the location. I enjoyed my stay there. I would visit again and I also referred my friends to stay there when they visit Portland.

A pretty Polish Princess in the vegetation with a very nice roof terrace. The breakfasts are excellent, hearty and homemade, served by qualified and discreet staff. Barbara the boss is the most professional attentive, dynamic, efficient and discreet person that I have known of all the Guest House where I have stayed after more 50 trips around the world. It is an exception, and a very good value for money. GOT FOR IT !!

Jay’s guesthouse is a perfect base for exploring the Blue Mountains and hiking its main attraction: the Peak Trail. The trailhead is just a short walking distance from the village. The village and the mountains are perfectly safe to explore. Jay and his family were very helpful and friendly. We were offered breakfast and dinner each day, and the food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. It was Jamaican village style food: chicken, fish, rice and beans, plantains, etc. The room was clean and comfortable, and the mountain view was awesome. We did not take any additional trips due to time constraints, but also because the road is very bumpy and it takes a long time to get anywhere. I would suggest that once you are in the village you take your time to explore the Blue Mountains cloud forest, the nearby villages and coffee farms. I definitely recommend Jay’s guesthouse to any nature lover. Hope to come one more time and show the magical forest to my friends and family!
