I absolutely do not understand how this resort has bad reviews 🤷 Fun fact: After making the reservation on Booking.com I wanted to cancel it on so many occasions and I even started to research other resorts in the area. Whew! What a good thing I didn't. Anyway, let's get into this review. So immediately as we entered the parking lot DONOVAN came over to us, he was sooo kind! He assisted us to find a nice spot in the parking lot and quickly offered to take our suitcases over. We had barely entered the lobby when MS. CHRISTIAN gave us the heartiest welcome 🤗 She was so warm and welcoming. I was stunned again because the bad reviews were replaying in my head and at this point I was wondering if this was the same property they were speaking about. Anyways, she made our check-in process absolutely seamless! She's a sweetheart! Immediately after checking-in, we were introduced to CAROLINA, an absolute darling! She took us up to our room (deluxe sea vuz) ⛵ and briefed us a bit more about the hotel and the facilities etc. Let's talk about the room 😍 The bathroom was amazing. It was spotless and we consistently had warm water (again the reviews replayed in my head). My favourite thing, apart from the comfy beds, would have to be the closet! It was perfect for my mirror pics 🤩 I called the front desk shortly after we settled to ask for a crib. In about 10-15 mins there came our crib and this was when we met ANDY! I had an inflatable/float for my daughter which I needed to be blown up and without hesitation Andy assisted. Listen...words cannot truly express how awesome the staff at this resort is! When I needed to warm up my meals the kitchen staff assisted and they had such a pleasant demeanor. Even the guests were nice. Carmen was amazing and the security team, Marlon and James were watchful, helpful and friendly. The entire staff were great. Our room was spacious, clean and so unique. The bedding was super comfortable. The pool area and the hot tub were great as well- literally the largest hot tub I’ve ever seen. My husband loves the sun and I prefer the shade, there was plenty of both in the pool area for us both to be happy. The cave walk to the cliff “beach” was also a really neat feature. The property is across the street from LTU Cliff Restaurant with beautiful views and delicious food. We ate there often during our stay. There’s a small local market down the street to pick up incidentals for the room; we got coffee, drinks and snacks. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and stove, plus cups plates glasses and dinnerware for two. We used the refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, all worked great. I would like to praise the security who was there on the night of the 8th February, 2025 as he saved us from being held up by a man on a bike who followed us and tried to say that I hit him with my car. I believe his intention was to rob us. The guard quickly closed the gate and told him the police were going to be called and with that he departed quickly. Negril is beautiful and the beauty is still well preserved. The Beach is clean and well maintained. The police presence is good. Alot of adventures to participate in and otherwise very relaxing location. This is an excellent accommodation for your vacation. The villa is new with detailed interior decorating and an exceptionally clean environment. The villa is on a beachfront and the owner expressed their plan to do additional work to enhance the space. It is strategically located almost to the border of Westmoreland and St Elizabeth and is very close to the main thoroughfare. The bed was super comfortable and felt like my home away from home. I must commend the owners of the property, Donna and Ian who were both accommodating and ensured that our stay was a great one.
