- From US$253.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,141 reviewsThe first thing I realised when I entered the hotel was the smell, it was so nice and calming. The room was amazing. It was spacious, had a huge bed and even a window seating area. The view was decent from higher floor too. On the top floor, there was even a spa area, which was free for all guests! It has a sauna, an indoor and an outdoor bath. There were also vending machines and laundry machines on that floor. Of course, the room also had a toilet and bath. Bus and tram stops are just a few minutes away. The price was very affordable too, especially compared to other big cities.Guest review byKaiLuxembourg
- From US$112.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,499 reviewsRestaurants very close, and relatively close station with a walking distance of 20 minutes. Around 30 minutes to main attraction, park of peace. Room was small but it is very fair because all Japan has same size rooms. For us even though we had 3 big luggage it was still comfy. Beds comfy! AC working well! A lot of amenities which was very helpful!Guest review bySergeyCyprus
- From US$178.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 2,038 reviewsI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was one of the cheapest hotels I stayed in in Japan, but the room was very comfortable and the hotel gave free alcohol from 6.30-8.30pm, plus free breakfast. The listing only let's you choose smoking rooms, but at least 3 floors of the hotel are completely non-smoking, so be sure to ask. Great value hotel.Guest review bySimonAustralia

Hiroshima was a lovely city of history and culture and an opportunity as a base to do additional day trips to other cities to experience more of the Japanese culture. We experienced very humid conditions in September so would look at the cherry blossom time when returningGuest review bysandraAustralia - 10.0

It isn’t a typical tourist destination from my understanding but the gardens by night are absolutely stunning. The casual is also beautiful and I’m sad to have missed the pottery class. Food and bars also exceptional - everybody is particularly friendly, and perhaps less used to accommodating tourists. Coffee: Empire coffee roasters. Friendly service and outstanding coffee. Food: Hidaya Yanigamachi. Grill your own delicious meat. Drink: ichigin. Super friendly and will involve you in conversations even if you don’t speak Japanese.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Only spent one day at the end of our trip which was enough to basically shop and wander the historical area which I think is the main attraction anyway. Beautiful, scenic, clean, historic. And we loved Yoshii Ryokan in the heart of it all. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

It does get busy during the day when lots of tourists come over by ferry for the day however we hired bikes and managed to stay clear of the crowds for the most part. The Island becomes very quite in the evening which is perfect, I would advise that you book a restaurant as lots of the island closes around 5-6pm so anything that is open later gets booked up. We were very lucky to just get the last free table on two occasions. Also the deer wandering around especially in the dusk and evening before al the ferries drop off are enchanting, however they are not like the deer in Nara park and there are lots of signs that remind people not to feed or bother the deer, not everyone follows these rules which is disappointing.Guest review byDonnaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

The tourist information Centre was great.
The tourist information Centre was great. Had good information and most. There is a loop bus to take you to the Castle and other points. The observation deck at the Bank was wonderful. The views spectacular of Matsue. Looked a tidy place, well looked after and comfortable to visit.Guest review byRogerNew Zealand - 10.0

It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.Guest review byCostelloeCanada - 10.0

The city was a great inspiration. With not that many tourists around, Hiroshima stays authentic. We loved our day passes for public transport as they came in handy and even included a ferry to Miyajima island!Guest review byOlaPoland - 8.0
