- From $310.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 4,018 reviewsThe location of this hotel is phenomenal for the view you get of the bay. it is a little far from the center of the city, but there is a free shuttle, as well as a ferry to Miyajima. Staff were incredibly kind and the room was absolutely beautiful. The rate we paid was the lowest of any of our other hotels in Japan, but the room size was four times as large. Excellent amenities available and cleanliness was top-notch.Guest review byKarmenCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 10,406 reviewsLOCATION AND MY OVER-ALL STAY! APA Hotel never fails to meet my expectations. Been staying at APA Hotels whether I'm in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka and Nagoya during my trips and one thing that makes me go back and book their hotels is the location. Their Hiroshima hotel is just beside the JR Hiroshima station which is a plus for me since I'm traveling with family (senior parents and 2 toddlers below 4 years old).Guest review byAya JarillaPhilippines

Everyone should go to Peace Park.
Everyone should go to Peace Park. There is so much to see there and it is very nicely done. Warning that children should be prepared for the museum and displays. It was difficult as an adult, but very glad I went. Garden by castle was beautiful.Guest review byNANCYUnited States - 10.0

It isn’t a typical tourist destination from my understanding but the gardens by night are absolutely stunning. The casual is also beautiful and I’m sad to have missed the pottery class. Food and bars also exceptional - everybody is particularly friendly, and perhaps less used to accommodating tourists. Coffee: Empire coffee roasters. Friendly service and outstanding coffee. Food: Hidaya Yanigamachi. Grill your own delicious meat. Drink: ichigin. Super friendly and will involve you in conversations even if you don’t speak Japanese.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Only spent one day at the end of our trip which was enough to basically shop and wander the historical area which I think is the main attraction anyway. Beautiful, scenic, clean, historic. And we loved Yoshii Ryokan in the heart of it all. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

Miyajima was great for walking around and doing the ropeway to the top. A lot of little eateries and street food- good if you like seafood. Scenic with the giant Tori gate and shrines, woods, deer walking around. Miyajima was one of my favorite spots on our trip to Japan.Guest review byMarciaUnited States - 10.0

The tourist information Centre was great. Had good information and most. There is a loop bus to take you to the Castle and other points. The observation deck at the Bank was wonderful. The views spectacular of Matsue. Looked a tidy place, well looked after and comfortable to visit.Guest review byRogerNew Zealand - 10.0

It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.Guest review byCostelloeCanada - 10.0

We stayed here rather than on Naoshima island and took the short ferry across to the island. When we planned our trip, I had not factored in that many of the museums on the island were closed on a Monday and that some had to be booked for the Sunday. The benefit is that the onsen next to the Uno hotel is wonderful. You can be outside in one of the outside baths and at night gaze at the stars. We had a massage and a Japanese meal in the onsen and ambled happily back to the hotel. We delayed our planned departure to go the next morning after we had checked out of the hotel. We did not really explore the town itself but had a lovely meal in a restaurant close to the ferry building, overlooking the park and shopped in the big stores near the station.Guest review byBUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very easy to get around , great public transport and a very walkable city. Must try the Hiroshima pancakes - fun watching them Make them in front of you .Guest review bycolleenAustralia
