Brandnew, modern and very clean hotel with big rooms and big and very comfortable beds. Lovely bathroom with tub. Nice and friendly staff. Perfect for our family of 4. I have read some of the other reviews mentioning that the location isn’t the best but for us it was actually perfect: only 10 minutes walk from the station, not a problem at all, even with luggage. After checking in around 15.00 we took the tram to the A-bomb dome and did our sightseeing/shopping/eating. Having to leave quite early the next day it was very handy to be close to the train station. The school across the street: we actually enjoyed the sound of children playing in their short break. Fun to witness a little bit Japanese everyday life. Would love to stay here again next time I am in Hiroshima

This is your typical state of the art Japanese business hotel. It just opened in 2021. I needed to spend a night in Hiroshima so I thought the location is perfect since it's near the station and I was able to drop off my bags in the morning and go sightseeing for the rest of the day. It's equipped with modern tech such as automated check-in/check-out. Also while it has "insert card to turn on the power in the room" functionality, it also has a unique invention that I haven't seen in other hotels: a special power card that you can insert to keep the power on even if you're not in the room.

A great hotel! The staff was super friendly though some receptionist struggled with English but nothing that Google translate can't fix. There lots of free amenities in the lobby! We booked a room with a king bed and it was specious, beautiful and clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Biggest plus in this hotel is the public bath. It had two different baths, one indoor and one outdoor. Great quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash are available. They even had toners and lotions for skincare. Location is right next to Hiroshima station.

    Overall a great experience! The location is great with easy access to transportation and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was small as shown in the photos, but worked well for a couple with light luggage. A good selection of amenities were included, as well as two different types of pillows to choose from. I highly recommend visiting the baths on the second floor as a way to unwind after a day of activities! The staff were excellent and service was great! The breakfast available at the hotel restaurant had a decent selection to choose from, including both western and Japanese options.

    The room was amazing, very spacious and nice and modern. The staff was really friendly and helpful! The free service they provided was beyond any expectation. Lots of free drinks and foods throughout the day and all of them very delicious! The breakfast was also really nice with wide variety of dishes including local food. The public bath was also very nice and well kept with long opening hours. All in all a fantastic hotel! I will look for this chain in my future visits too.

    Very impressed with the peace memorial , museum and surrounds. Walking distance between all sights. Easy to walk to sights , lots of great places to eat and shop. So much better value than Tokyo or Osaka Great place to spend a day at Miyajima and return to. Very happy we spent two days here . Very easy to get around , great public transport and a very walkable city. Must try the Hiroshima pancakes - fun watching them Make them in front of you .

    Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.

    It does get busy during the day when lots of tourists come over by ferry for the day however we hired bikes and managed to stay clear of the crowds for the most part. The Island becomes very quite in the evening which is perfect, I would advise that you book a restaurant as lots of the island closes around 5-6pm so anything that is open later gets booked up. We were very lucky to just get the last free table on two occasions. Also the deer wandering around especially in the dusk and evening before al the ferries drop off are enchanting, however they are not like the deer in Nara park and there are lots of signs that remind people not to feed or bother the deer, not everyone follows these rules which is disappointing.

    It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.

    The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly. He went above and beyond. Gave me the best room with lower price because I was solo and room is for 2. Yet the room and all areas in hotel were very clean and smelled good. It’s also across from train station and easy to commute everywhere. I will definitely stay again.

Within easy ferry access of Okunoshima (Rabbit) Island, the Mihara area provides quiet, budget-friendly accommodations, and local specials. Mihara station also acts as a stop for the Shinkansen, so it is a great place to act as a base town during your travel. Please visit Mihara!

    Kure is a great place for travelers who have an interest in Naval history, owing to Kure's long history as a naval port and the birthplace of famous ships like the battleship Yamato and aircraft carrier Akagi. The following restaurants were recommended to me so I also recommend them to future travelers! - Tone-honten (Curry Rice) - Dosanko Kure Hondori (Ramen) - Morisu (Ramen) - Jiyuken (Omurice) There is a rental bicycle service offered by JR by the station for 500円 where the bikes can be rented starting from 0800hrs and returned by 2000hrs.

    Because I got in late from doing the big bike ride over from Imabari, I was left with little time or energy to explore Onomichi. However, I did do some of the temple tour in the morning and it was excellent. I recommend taking the "ropeway" (I'd call it a cable car) to the hilltop and work your way down. I'd love to come back and explore more of this interesting little town.

    It was my second trip to Miyajima island.

    It was my second trip to Miyajima island. The first time I only travelled their with my wife and we did not stay in any accommodation. I left back on the ferry same day feeling that I had to eventually return. I was able to do that and I loved every moment. It's an island I would consider going back too again and staying over again. The island offers so much. For those that want heritage and history, tick. For those that want a close encounter with a deers, tick. For those who love calm beaches or mountains, tick. For those that want experiences with friendly locals, tick. Those wanting to do shopping, especially souveniours, tick. For those who want physical activity, the walking trails up the mountain are a definite tick. I could go on, but, for so many reasons I love and would highly recommend travel to Miyajima.
