The hotel is located in the bit remote area of Mito, which is not very touristic, but still very nice. Rooms were very spacious and absolutely clean, along with incredibly friendly staff and wonderful service. Changing breakfeast options from traditional Japanese to continental. We will visit again, fullest recommendation!

The reasonably priced hotel yet the room is much bigger and comfortable. The hotel building is next to the onsen, public bath was a huge bonus! A few restaurants and cafe within the building. What was amazing was there was a proper bus station with a waiting room/seats that loops between tokyo central area and the hotel, direct bus is available!!

    Take note of the carpark if driving. The carpark is a multi storey block behind the hotel. Only available from level 3 onwards. We parked at level 4 and fprtunately there was a lift that brought us to level 3, which is the street level leading to hotel. Hand over the parking slip to hotel upon check in, pay 500Y and they will exchange another slip for you.

    Good place for few days relaxing trip, 1hr from Tokyo by JR train, have direct bus from airport, recommend rental a car, driving 30 mins to outlet from train station, many site seeing places with 1 hour.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at HOTEL R9 The Yard Hitachinakaichige in Hitachi, and I must say, it was a genuinely unique experience that impressed me deeply. From the outset, the cabin's design captured my attention with its thoughtful, aesthetic touches that harmonize beautifully with the natural surroundings. Inside, the cabin was beautifully furnished, providing all the modern amenities you could ask for while still maintaining a cozy, welcoming vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. The tranquility of the location added significantly to the experience. Waking up to the soothing sounds of nature right outside my window was rejuvenating and provided a much-needed break from the noise of daily life. The staff at HOTEL R9 The Yard Hitachinakaichige were incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.     I nice city in central Ibaraki.

    I nice city in central Ibaraki. Good restaurants and in summer the lake and park are excellent. The stores around the main station are interesting and will appeal to a wide range of people and there are many good hotels near the station.

    It is a city with nature and interesting places to visit. I like the fish market here. The food is inexpensive, good quality and very delicious. Kirakuan Garden is also beautiful and gives a Japanese feel.
