It was snowing and we bathed in the onsen and I was very thankful for the whole experience of just being able to witness snow falling while my body bathed in that wonderful onsen. Then there's the food, the food is amazing! I have never eaten Japanese food like that. The taste and the combination of flavors just really left us in awe. It was a really nice meal and we appreciate that the dining tables were separated from each guest which made the whole setting a bit more private. Then there's the rooms. You have this huge room that I think would be better if we had a bigger family, but I do love that it has this area where you can view the river and the snow and just drink tea. The heater worked wonderfully and we didn't feel cold at all. I do love that it is also full tatami in the hotel and we walked around in assigned slippers throughout the place. Japanese people are incredible nice...even neither language is a barrier for them to make people happy and help. I got in many different cities different situations and all of them whenever I need where to go they will come with me to show me the way. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. Beautiful Country!!! Must see!!! Hakone is so far the highlight of 2 weeks in Japan. Could spend 2 nights there easily. The Free Pass was very good value, easy to use, and a great way to see the area. Start early. Ignore the crowds. Research the spots you want to stop. We wasted time in Hakone machi not realising that we would miss out on the open air museum and other spots around Gora. In my opinion Narita is worth staying in longer than just for a night after or before the flight. It is a lovely town with one of the most important (and the most beautiful I've seen) temples in Japan, and it is famous for unagi, the eel, which is delicious and defienetly a must to try while in Japan.Guest review bylipinkaPoland - 10.0

Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration...
Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.Guest review byOliver - 8.0

Touristy, somewhat charmless town that is nevertheless worth it for the magnificent shrines (Shinto, and the resting places of the first and third shoguns) and temples (Buddhist) and the museum (splurge on the museum! Seriously). Many people go to see these buildings + the red bridge (which is merely fine - short and not really noteworthy), but don't venture to the outskirts of Nikko to take in the other sites (Kanmangafuchi Abyss, Botanical Garden, Tamozawa Imperial Villa and much more impressive Nikko Dainichi Bridge).Guest review byChristopherUnited States - 8.0

We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama.
