- From US$204.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 531 reviewsThe resort is located in a remote area and is not easy to reach by public transport. You have to walk about 900 meters from the bus stop. You have to take two buses from the airport in Naha. However, the place is worth the effort. Beautiful beach with lots of umbrellas, very nicely landscaped surroundings, tasty and varied food. There are several restaurants to choose from on site. We stayed in a palm cottage: it was comfortable, cozy, clean and we slept well. We were also close to everything. The service was very helpful and friendly: they helped book transport, a table in a restaurant, changed money for small change needed in laundry machines, etc. A big advantage was also the free bus, which can take you to most attractions. In my country, they say about such a place that "the only thing missing is bird's milk", which means that it was great and you can only point out minor shortcomings.Guest review byArletaPoland
- From US$157.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 296 reviewsA most interesting experience with the family. First time staying in a trailer and it's parked right next to an accessible beach. There's a pool, a restaurant and also a bath/sauna available for a soak. Perfect for a laid back vacation for BBQ and chill. Since you book an entire cabin, it's great value for a family and there's more than enough space for 4 to 5 people (I only had one other family member and we had a king's bed all to ourselves each). Amenities are sufficient. There's a fridge, a kitchen, microwave and boiling pot for basic reheating needs.Guest review bypcSingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,019 reviewsThe whole place was amazing. The hotel is nice, the beach is gorgeous, never crowded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even who doesn’t speak English tried everything to help us when we had questions. I highly recommend this hotel! We also checked other big hotels nearby with beach access, and we think the moon beach is the best so far. You can really relax here without crowds or loud noises. And I also had to mention the private island tour with snorkeling and bbq. It’s soooooooooo worth it! If you book a few days here that’s a must try thing!Guest review byRenátaSweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 705 reviewsVery nice little gem. Our room for our family of four was very spacious. We can lay out all of our luggages. We each had our own beds. The lounge was perfect for my 18 and 20yo boys with pool and dart and free flow alcohol. Our room was facing the ocean and was able to watch sunset. Convenience store was right across from hotel. Breakfast included was exceptional. Highly recommended.Guest review byShawnUnited States
- From US$634.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 664 reviewsThe room was huge. There is a walk in wadrobe, huge bathroom. There is turn down service and valet which cost 2000 yen per night if you are driving. The staff pays attention to details, for example by giving cold bottled drink in the car when we need to use the car. The room size, location and amenities were great. If you want a luxurious resort stay, you can consider Halekulani.Guest review byEleneSingapore

They also do rental service for snorkel equip or swimming float etc. Around this accommodation, there are lots of lovely oceans you can enjoy ocean views and activities. There is nothing better than this stay. I hope i can come back later with my family at that time.Guest review bySeorinSouth Korea

We loved Onna!
We loved Onna! You’re right in the middle between Naha and the Aquarium. We used to go to a nearby beach called Kibougaoka Beach — mostly locals (but nver more than 10 people), and it was absolutely magical. So beautiful! YOU NEED TO RENT A CAR!Guest review byjulitilliArgentina - 10.0

I only stayed in my hotel because it was raining but i definitely wish I stayed longer (I was only there for one full day— the other two I travelled to and from my hotel) but I really wish I booked a longer stay. It’s not as busy as Naha or other popular areas so for me it was quiet and peaceful. I wish I could have visited some local attractions such as the pineapple park but unfortunately it rained on the day I wanted to go and I didn’t really feel like doing that in the rain. But I’d recommend 2-3 full days here!Guest review byHoltonJapan - 10.0

We visited quite a few places in the area including Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium which was really interesting and well worth the money. We spent time at Motobu Genki Village and Bise with the tropical dream center all located within Ocean Expo Park. Due to a lack of time after seeing lots of other attractions in the area we were unable to visit the northernmost beaches and forest walks that we had planned.Guest review byBrianNew Zealand - 10.0
There was a lot to do and see in Kin.
There was a lot to do and see in Kin. The variety of restaurants was impressive and we wished we could stay longer just to check them out. There was a good mix of Western and Japanese restaurants, so plenty of food options for everyone. It was also really interesting to find a Buddhist temple that had a cave on the grounds! The beaches were also really nice. We loved Kin Sunrise Beach Seaside Park and everything it had to offer. We didn't have a lot of time to spend there, but we probably could have stayed there all day.Guest review byCarleyJapan - 10.0

A gorgeous spot with plenty of local restaurants to enjoy. Beaches on your doorstop and other attractions such as pottery village only a short drive away. I really made use of the hire car for trips out of Onna, but a few days could be enjoyed in the town by walking.Guest review byElizabethAustralia - 6.0
Nago has fantastic beaches.
Nago has fantastic beaches. Most of them not advertised enough. However the restaurants are small (at least where we were...at Yugaf Inn) and they dont seem to bother serving forighners. Some even have notes out on the door. Shocking And that is a big one. Plus nobody speaks english so that makes things hard.Guest review bySorina - 10.0

Kin is quiet and mostly residential, away from the tourism of Okinawa. The main business is Cam Hansen, Marine Corps Base. Range operations can be heard from the southern part of Kin almost every day.Guest review byRobertJapan - 4.0
Onna was disappointing.
Onna was disappointing. A long way from Naha airport although well serviced by airport limousine bus on our way in. There were no busses on the return to Naha from the resort for an early flight out, so needed to pay taxi which was expensive. Weather was a bit indifferent - had expected something more of a pacific island climate. Other than resort (Sheraton which was very limited in choice for meals), there were limited evening eating places. Those that were available were 30minute walk away from the resort, some reasonably ok, others not so. Would recommend Jam for dinner - booking essential - worth the moneyGuest review byMichaelAustralia - 10.0

we went in rainy season (late may) so not the smartest of us. however the one sunny day we had we went to the beach and how wonderful. the beauty of okinawa especially up north is unparalleled and when you get to experience it firsthand it is breathtaking. i wish we could have gone to yanbaru! I recommend a couple things: -dye workshop at BOTANICA (indigo and natural dye of natural fibres clothing shawl bag or something you bring) run by a family near the Nakijin castle (also great recommendation) -Biking along the coast (its not for the faint hearted but its so rewarding) -nago museum (great history and natural history emphasizing unity of nature and people and cultural history of pre japan ryuku kingdom -okinawa soba! satchan soba is great, get the pork rib or sanmainiku -captain kangaroo hamburger for GIANT JUICY BURGER -fishing port teishoku restaurant for tuna or mixed fish don -hanhanmoomani korean restaurant in central nago, sosososos good and most friendly staff! -inno coffee shop -nago municipal market (grocery store and a delicious sweets store beside it) -ryujin shrine(osehara ryujin on google maps): stray cats supported by people and organizations in nago, hermit crabs with a shell shrine, the most peaceful a mystical area -hubcycle okinawa (bike rental, contact them because they say closed wednesday but they are actually open )Guest review byEvaCanada
