- From US$312.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,366 reviewsPolished hotel with far more space in the room than I expected. Everything was pleasant during my stay and I loved having the space to open my luggage and still have space to walk around. 500ml bottled water provided every day was also much appreciated. The separated bathroom and toilet were also pretty big and I really cannot praise more that the hotel provides tray organisers on the bathroom shelf. It made me feel at home that I didn't have to haphazardly place things on the counter. The hot tub/jacuzzi in the public bath was also a pleasant surprise, and I liked that this hotel provides keycards for the public bath instead of making people remember passcodes. As someone who starts the day late, I'm also appreciative of being able to have the room cleaned all the way up to 3pm. Staff were always courteous and helpful and made it feel like a 5-star experience staying here. I liked the location as well, it's not too far from Gaienmae Station and my favourite Doutor Coffee. I would definitely like to stay here again.Guest review byGraceSingapore
- From US$198.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 2,720 reviewsThe rooms were quite small, but I already knew that before coming to the hotel, and the room was nicely designed within the limited space. the housekeeping staff was very good. As I went out daily, I request them to clean my room when I'm at the hotel within 9-10 am. They did it really well. The staff was kind and I request a scale to weight my luggages first day, they couldn't find one. But in the second day I drop them a message and the staff was fantastic, and they gave me a scale when I'm coming back to room. Further, the scale battery was low, but with short notice they replaced the battery as well - I could remember his name, but he spoke English well and very supportive guy. Train station was nearby, it's really convenient for me to travel daily by metro. Most of the time Ginza line.Guest review bySamarakoon Mudiyanselage Dinithi RavindrikaSri Lanka

I love the fact that prices is cheaper then in my country ☺️ What i don't like about Tokyo? Some people were so rude. They never apologise even when they accidentally stepped your feet from behind, or their handbags hits your arm or body. They walk like nothing happened.Guest review byCharisma Nelly - 10.0
Love this neighbourhood.
Love this neighbourhood. I lived in Japan for several years, 2 decades ago, and I have gone back a few times for a visit. First time for me to be in Tachikawa. It has great vibe, a bit of hustle bustle, but not crowded and suffocating like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Lots of shops and cheap restaurants. Not touristy at all and you can observe locals doing their everyday business if that is your thing.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Fuchu was a wonderful town to stay in on the outskirts of Tokyo. It has a slower, more relaxed atmosphere than central tokyo. The people were friendly and there was plenty to do and see. The tree lined main street leading to the temple was beautiful. And there were some local parks that were nice to walk to.Guest review bymitchUnited States - 10.0

Machida has everything you need for shopping plus the Odakyu Line into Shinjuku or the Yokohama Line into Yokohama if you need to hit the big time. Still comoared to most North American towns, Westerners will think Machida is HUUUUGE and super busy. For Kanto region I'd saw it's a hub for Kanagawa but manageable. Food choices at and around the station are excellent. Hotels are way cheaper than in central Tokyo yet you are only 30 to 60 mins on any train to wherever you need to go. Direct buses from Narita and Henda airports as well so no need to deal with hauling luggage on trains. Or just takyubin (courier) luggage to Mahcida from airport.Guest review byBDonutCanada - 10.0
The city is literally amazing.
The city is literally amazing. Everything you could want is right there in your hotel or walking distance. Great cafes, izakayas, shopping, exploring-literally everything. Not as busy as some areas in Tokyo, and I fell in love. Will be back soon.Guest review byChristopherUnited States - 8.0
The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities.
The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities. But you will likely need to rent a car to reach some of the more remote areas easily. There are buses and taxis, but you may have to wait quite a bit of time. Many of the restaurants will close during the afternoon and early evening, so be sure to have some snacks prepared or stay in a place with a kitchen.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo.
Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo. We explored the beautiful Inokashira Park and other points further west such as Chofu and Koganei. We ate at a great izakaya that specialises in squid called Totomaro. There's plenty of shopping, including Don Quijote and Yuzawaya. Kichijoji is on the Chuo line which connects with Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. It's also really well serviced with buses.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 8.0

Tokyo is as busy as any other major capital city around the world. I wasn’t particularly impressed by its traditional or local vibe, but it’s definitely great for shopping, tech, and food. The public transport is efficient, punctual, and offers a lot of options. However, you can still find nearby villages or towns, like Kamakura or Nikko, that offer a more traditional feel and a calmer atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great place to visit once in a lifetime to experience the hustle and bustle, but I don’t think you’d need to stay for too long.Guest review byPakapant RujichitUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I went to Tachikawa for a concert at Tachikawa Stage Garden and it was my very first time visiting there. Life in Tachikawa seems to be a bit more laid-back than central Tokyo even though it's a big city as well. Meaning, you get to enjoy the convience and entertainment of what big cities offer, but it's a bit less crowded and less chaotic. Showa Kinen National Park is a great place. I spent two afternoons there to clear my head and connect with nature. Highly recommend. I'll definately be back for the unexplored spots such as the art museums and many eateries.Guest review byPei HsuanUnited Kingdom
