it was the perfect stiffness for the bed, the airconditioning was perfectly placed and did not cause me to have a cold. The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast had incredible variety. I would always come back here :)

Liked that it is located just at the Dentetsu Station which is very helpful for traveller going for the Tateyama Apline Route. Surrounding are malls where we can get nice and famous Toyama delicacies. Room is not big but okay for 2 medium size luggages. The massage chair and coffee machine at the rest area, for guests, next to lobby is a plus. Breakfast was ok.

We were very lucky and got upgraded from a standard double room to a room with two single beds, arigato once again! :) Everything else was excellent as well: your own little onsen bathtub in the room, shared onsen with ice cream and massage chairs and a very delicious breakfast. You could even get ramen for free at 21:30 but we haven't tried it as such timing was too late for us. Hotel is also very close to the main attractions of the city.

The hospitality presented by the reception staff is excellent. Buffet breakfast was good and tasty, and when we wanted to keep our luggage at the lobby for full 8 hours while waiting for our flight, they do so with a smile and without questions. Definately our next go to connecting hotel in Japan. Price is affordable for the services that you get. Location is very strategic, right smack in middle of town and 5 minutes walk to train station.

Location is good, not far from Toyama station, even by bus or by feet. It's worth to have hotspring for relaxing, especially if you have all day fun around Toyama. breakfast is beyond my expectations, a lot of options you can choose. And all of them are delicious.     Exceptional service from the minute our car arrived at the hotel entrance. The level of service here sets a new benchmark for our future Japanese stay (which has always been highly positive). Tranquil ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, Japanese garden, indoor and outdoor onsen, tatami flooring throughout, spacious room with beautiful view of Shogawa, free flow of coffee and drinks and a shop selling local arisanal products at reasonable prices . We tried a few local products and were blown away. Especially love the chocolate from Patisserie Vert and the folded mugwort mochi with red bean paste filling. The staff recommended 2 restaurants , 5 minutes walk away for highly rated local Ayu fish meals. Lots of blooming June flowers everywhere. Perfect location. Only 15 mins drive to see the beautiful Shogawa Gorge and around 15 mins to Tonami City for shopping.

    Location was prefect for visiting the Kurobe Alpine Route. Dinner and breakfasts are included which are traditional Japanese. We were expecting breakfast to be a buffet style as per the photos and didn't enjoy the set Japanese menu first morning. Felt wasteful as we didn't enjoy it at all. If given the option for Western breakfast at check in would have selected for both mornings, second day was lovely. Dinners were very nice, used google translate to decipher menu, only to have an idea what we were enjoying. There is also a lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks available all day and into the evening.

    People there are very helpful and courteous. It is very clean, and uncongested. Quiet and peaceful, unlike the other cities. I highkt recommend pairing Toyama and Tetayama, i.e. 3 and 2 nights respectively . Simply amazing.

    It was a wonderful experience for me since this is my first time to snow mountain , the view at Tateyama Kogen Hotel was really stunning . When i checked in it was very foggy and the next morning i just couldn't believe my eyes the ALPS peak is just in front of my room window . It was so close to me . It's really beautiful with the sunrise . Since i went there early 1st May , i can only see the snow wall corridor and the beauty of Kurobe dam . The view is really pretty. oh if you are planning to drive to Ogizawa , don't worry there are plenty of car park but make sure you arrive early . We park our car at Shinano Omachi and took a bus there as afraid can't find parking due to Golden week holiday , I could have drive up there !

    The room cleaning not complete and the door left AJAR the whole day when we were away. See the pic attached. We have confirmed with staffs that condition of all rooms are dated and do not match those on the hotel website. The photos on the website shows the rooms are new and updated.

    It is a lovely place, with good service and clean rooms. Meals are good too. It is a small place so it is easy to walk around. I would avoid arriving at night , esp for guests who are just staying for one night . Make sure to check the operational dates for the Kurobe Gorge Railway

    The highlight of Imizu was the quality of the fish—fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Shinminato Uchikawa, with its canals and fishing boats, has a uniquely peaceful atmosphere. The Amaharashi coast, with views of the sea and Tateyama mountains, is simply unforgettable. i stayed at Yanafu House, a bright and cozy home with natural design, vintage HiFi audio, and every comfort. Perfect for couples or families.

    I booked 2 twin rooms for my stay on 27-29 Nov. 1 twin room...

    I booked 2 twin rooms for my stay on 27-29 Nov. 1 twin room for 2 persons. hence 2 twin rooms for 4 persons. however, when i checked in, i was told that i booked a twin room for 1 person and needed to top up for extra guest. When i told the staff that i paid for 2 twin rooms for 4 persons, I was asked to provide proof. I'm surprised that the hotel does not have record that i booked 2 twin rooms for 4 persons as the hotel sent me email to confirm that i booked 2 twin rooms for 4 persons. when i finally found the email as proof and showed the hotel staff, the staff then asked me if i booked for adults or children. I was really shocked and frustrated that after providing proof that i booked for 4 persons, then i have to provide proof that i booked for adults and not children. When i said that when booking the rooms, i clicked the twin room for 2 persons which did not indicate adults or children. The staff then asked me to wait and walked away. I waited for quite some time and the staff didn't get back to me. So i went to the front desk and asked the staff what's happening. then she said everything is ok now. This is really bad service. i didn't note the name of the 2 staff who attended to me.

    Very peaceful place.

    Very peaceful place. Stunning Toyama castle is right in front of the hotel and can have a morning or evening walk around the castle. There are so many traditional sea food shops, super markets and Daiwa shopping mall near the hotel.
