The Old Cinema has a very unique architecture and an incredibly charming, and unconventional interior, both in the fantastic common areas downstairs, including the pool and an indoor vegetated "oasis" and in the rooms. A lot of attention is put into the extra detail - for use, for comfort, for the eye. The food was delicious, the staff extremely helpful and kind. I loved it!

- Lovely manager and housekeeper, always smiling (the manager speaks very good french!) - Great location in a quiet area just outside of the more busy Kampot, 7-8 minutes of motorbike/tuktuk (1.5$) to get to the center - Comfortable bed, big room, nice shower and even… separate toilets from the bathroom (rarely seen in Asia) - We rented a motorbike for a very good price, it was in excellent condition - The place is just beautiful and the (very clean) swimming pool is a nice reward after a busy day

Loved everything about our stay, such friendly staff, great pool and brilliant accommodation. The owner even gave us face masks when he heard we were driving to Sihanoukville by scooters that day as the roads were bad and dusty. Highly recommend!

What an amazing hotel! The owners and staff go above and beyond. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food was delicious. Facilities were perfect It was my daughter’s birthday during their stay and the hotel decorated her room. Balloons and a surprise cake at dinner. Nothing was a problem and they made their stay memorable and perfect.

The Suorsdei Boutique Hotel was one of the best hotels on my trip. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. The bed is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is great and new. The shower was perfect. A feel-good shower with hot water, glass wall. The toilet is separated from the shower. The staff is very nice and the price is perfect. The location is also very central. You can do everything on foot. A lot of restaurants are around the corner and it is less than 5 minutes to walk to the river and the night market.

    The tree house was amazing, and had plenty of room covering 3 floors. The staff were the best we’ve experienced in 3 months travelling south east Asia - they all made an effort to make conversation and even remembered our first names which made us feel very welcome. The food was also fantastic.

    We stayed at Pippali for just over a week and it was truly amazing. The hotel is very well maintained with good sized very comfortable rooms. The swimming pool is an added luxury. The hotel is located just across the road from the main river and is walking distance from downtown Kampot.

    We came here for kiteboarding and it turned out to be a good...

    We came here for kiteboarding and it turned out to be a good decision (August). One of the family members is a keen kiteboarder and was able to organise a boat to take us out to the island at the river mouth. It is a nice laid back place with easy access to the city by tuk-tuk or in our case a hired motorbike. The staff also assisted with reasonably priced transport to/from Phnom Penh and were flexible with our needs to change the booking at short notice. It is not a 5 star resort for presentation perfection, but it is for the family friendly relationship you get here.

    Kampt is a nice little town to visit to get away from the...

    Kampt is a nice little town to visit to get away from the madness in Phnom Penh. It has a very laid back vibe and feels safe. Quite a few good options for dining and a wide variety of accommodations. Driving there can be a little rough but it is only 3 hours from Phnom Penh.

    Enjoyed three days just outside of town.

    Enjoyed three days just outside of town. We used it as a hub to visit Bokor National park, La Fontaine pepper farm and the salt flats via a scooter. The town has a nice river walkway, a cute food court area in a Central Park and a book cafe which we enjoyed. Nice kayaking area just west of town.
