It's a capsule hotel so I was worried about my "room" being small, but it was actually very roomy and comfortable. I had a comfy nights sleep and even though it was a shared space, it was super quiet after dark. I liked the colour changing lights! The shared bathroom is fantastic, with loads of sinks and mirrors, and also things like hairdryers and hair straighteners etc available to use. There's a shelf and a safe in the capsule for your things, and you also get a big locker for your valuables which is large enough for a full size suitcase (mine is 67cm tall and fit fine). Also the staff were AMAZING. I was there on Buzan Fireworks Festival and watched from the cafe on the 2nd floor. The two girls working that night were fantastic, making sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. When I was kneeling on the floor to take photos at a better angle, one of the girls ran and got me a teddy to kneel on! Everyone had their own sleeping space which was great. The City views were lovely to see, especially at night. We appreciated the fridge and the washing machine, and was happy there was a drying rack in the room. The room was clean and attended tonwell. I visited the gym area which was wonderful, with bonus views (I chose the run along the beach though). The location was perfect for exploring the beach or the City by metro. The beaches were awesome and well maintained. Everything seemed slightly more dirty than Seoul but I think it's just fighting the environment of the ocean being right there. Lots of beach options, none of them were overcrowded when we went but we were there Tuesday-Thursday. They have the worlds largest mall, BIFF, and only 30ish minutes from Gamcheon, by taxi. It's over an hour by bus assuming you don't miss your stop or get on the wrong bus like we did lol. It's hotter and more humid than Seoul but something to expect going to beaches. Plenty to eat, more seafood based if that's your jam, lots of shopping and beautiful views. My daughter really wanted to see the Gwangalli Bridge show but it only happens on weekends. It does light up from about 8-12 nightly though. We opted for Taxi traveling after giving up on trying to figure out buses. They go fast and weave through traffic, its a crazy ride and much more crazy than Seoul taxi drivers so hold on tight!Guest review byBethanyUnited States - 8.0
