Nearby the hotel, within walking distance, are a number of convenience stores and small restaurants, a great alternative to the expensive hotel meals. The hotel was easy to find, with plenty of free undercover parking on site. Our room overlooked the verdant valley below and we had the rising sun shining through our window every morning. Our room was large, bright and airy with a nice balcony. We had all the mod cons you’d expect: AC, TV, free Wifi, fridge, electric toilet, etc. Our bed was super comfy and there was no outside noise at all so we had very good sleeps. We liked the convenience store (7-11) located in the lobby and made use of it several times. The gym is decent, but not great. For cardio gear, there are only 3 treadmills, nothing else. There are a number of decent quality weight machines, a set of dumbbells (to 20kg) and an adjustable bench. They have huge spaces for activity like yoga and stuff. Bike rental was also available. Convenient store GS25 was also within the facility. Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all.
Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all. We were a group of three between 29-33 years old. Great and diverse food, amazing nature, great hiking trails, amazing beaches, locals who are used to both domestic and foreign tourists (+-13.000.000 a year) and competitive ferry pricing with eg Hanil ferries which you can easily book from 30 bucks round trip. Book the third class and proceed to chill on deck and in the on board restaurant as the trip is a mere 2.5 hours. Jeju city has a lot to offer, but the city in the south is also great (Seogwepo). If you feel like dining at the beach there are a lot of niche options like beach club Vadada and born to be burger/pizza at the pool and football stadium.
