Very nice, place, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Arugam Bay, but they provide free bicycles, so it’s relatively easy to get there. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is filling enough and they provide free yoga sessions every day and also surfing lessons (cost is similar to that in the city).

Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again. Located near the bay, and main street however in quiet area. The facility is new, rooms are nice, bed comfy and bath clean. Outside, there is a patio where you can relax. There was also fridge freezer and small kitchen available. Great place.

The most amazing stay highly recommended!* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at *Doppel Gangs* in Arugam Bay and had the most unforgettable experience. The hotel is in the *perfect location* close enough to the main road (just a 1-minute walk!) to access everything easily, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet without the crowds and noise. The hotel is *by far the cleanest* I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka, with daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There’s also a *really nice pool*, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the *incredible staff*, especially *Hibed*. We were a group of 8 girls and one boy, and from the moment we arrived, Hibed went *above and beyond* to make us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness were beyond anything we expected. He was always there to help whether it was organizing *tuk tuk rides* at *any time, to any place, with any notice*, fixing a ripped pair of pants with a local seamstress, or surprising us with freshly made yogurt. Every little thing he did added to the magic of our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but I’ve *never* encountered a staff that had such a genuine impact on my overall experience. *Thank you, Doppel Gangs, for an incredible stay. We’ll never forget it.* Can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Beach Wave Hotel has been the best experience we've had on our holiday. The room is very comfortable, and has a lovely balcony with hammoch (beach view) which is perfect to relax in after a long day out. The location was excellent, it is a 05 second walk to the beach and is ideally located to all necessary amenities, e.g. restaurants , bars, supermarkets, ATMs, etc. Our experience would not have been possible without Beach Waves extremely kind and tireless host, Naleem, who is attentive to his guests' every needs. Silmir organised our travel to Arugam Bay, and to the airport, he also arranged for our surf lessons, and the excursions we were interested in. SIlmir does not overcharge or take a commission on any of these services, he simply provides you the best price and best person for the job. We surfed with the best surf school in Arugam Bay, and he was even kind enough to assist with getting a special massage for my partner's sprained ankle. Highly recommend this place and Value for the stay! Beach Wave Hotel is really the only option to choose when deciding where to stay in Arugam Bay!

Very big and clean room. AC worked well and the staff was very friendly! Also nice common kitchen on rooftop and beautiful common space on the roof that can clearly see the beach. The shower was amazing and there was even shampoo and soap to use.
