We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage Negombo! The receptionists were the sweetest, we felt really welcome. The staff was really attentive and cared about us, going out of their way to make our stay great. The room was as described, the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the evening and morning swim at the pool, it was something magical! Our heartfelt compliments to the chef - we absolutely LOVED the food! In the morning, the cook prepared the breakfast from the coconut he harvested from the hotel's garden that same morning! The location is a bit remote, but also very calm and quiet. Walking around we could peek into the lives of common Sri Lankans. All in all, a great stay, recommended!

We came late at wetland resort they have made a nice welcome for us ,morning we have a nice breakfast and a nice little guy name silva was their for us all time ,he always help us anytime we wanted ..the owner where really amaizing person ,the lady was really amaizing well-done thanks again for the great tasty food that we eat really nice the devilled pork i recommend it.we do enjoy so much their and the pool was a breathtaking and medium hot woow you can stay the whole day night too woow..it was a pleasure staying with you and see you back really soon ..we grade you 2000%. °Sonja and Bernard are the best. They're so kind, understanding and they do everything they could to make you happy. °The cleaning was done not in two seconds as everybody does in different countries. They cleaned the place like for themselves. °The food was good. °The room was huge. °Everything worked well. °The pool was maintained very well. °I had some probs at work and Bernard and Sonja were so kind to me letting me go one week earlier than planned, they refunded the amount exactly as it was supposed to be. Oh, I'm so touched by these people and their kind hearts. °If you want to relax and you're tired of the city, metropolis noise, hussle and stuff, this place is ideal for you. Or maybe a one-two-three day stay for chilling before going to the next place. I'd never advise any other places but this. You'd never regret it.

I really liked the hotel - a very big and clean room, nice shower, beautiful garden. It’s a small street, not the main road with its awful traffic and noise. The WiFi is very good. It’s only 10 minutes from the airport and the host provides a transfer, which is very convenient.

    Staff as usual were nice and helpful always with a smile. Check in was smooth and quick. The place is minimalistic but elegantly decorated Room spacious very clean with full amenities. Comfortable beds wide to fit 2 adults and 2 small children. One of the very few hotels that provides a French press and ground coffee in the rooms happy with a big 😀 Premise is well kept clean and taken care of. Breakfast was wonderful with sri Lankan dishes as well as continental breakfast enjoyed the traditional sri Lankan hopper They have 3 clean big pools This is not our first time at this hotel and defntly won't be our last

    Hotel J is so close to my heart. I have stayed in the hotel alone for weeks when i used to undertake content writing jobs. Security, comfortable rooms, well maintained property with a pool and a nice beach frontage, friendly staff, peace and tranquility, lovely authentic food all at a super reasonable price.. I came here after 5 years with family and glad to see nothing has changed except for a lovely rooftop bar being added.. cocktails were all made of locally sourced ingredients and no reheated old food is served. All freshly cooked authentic food.. Highly recommend this place ❤

    I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.

    Katunayake is a convenient location for travelers, especially those flying in or out of Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, convenient stop near the airport, I’d definitely recommend Hello Airport Hotel.

    The owner, Mr Nelson was extremely helpful from the time he picked me up from the airport until the last minute of my stay. Specially, in the midst of the Sri Lankan curfew. Thank you. I recommend this place for anyone in the future.

    Perfect one/two nights on arrival take a tuktuk tour its worth it and last night before you leave. Negombo is 30 mins to the main SRI Lankan Airport, much close than Colombo. Also all hotels have UK plug sockets which is useful

    We stayed here overnight after travelling around Sri Lanka. We did not expect the warmth and kindness we received. The room was very cheap, yet large, clean and the proprietor even gave us lifts locally to the shops etc.

    I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent and very quiet and peaceful room. The hotel must be implemented to do below the mentioned points. 1: The hotel room needs to keep a dustbin. 2: The hotel must keep a bath towel inside the bathroom. 3; The Bathroom inside the slippers needs to be kept. Other than this everything is ok.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. The food places like Prego, Toro pub, Bamboo Kitchen with Shisha, Rodeo are some of the amazing places. The Browns Beach and the people are amazing and loving. Infact Poruthota road has a SPA CEYLON boutique you can use it for mssage rituals from Luxury Ayurveda. Beautiful coastal lines, fsh markets, churches etc. A must visit.

    I arrived too early BUT, as a result, had a GREAT pedicure and head/neck massage, about an hour in all. Perfect preparation for a 10.5 hour flight to London. Recommended go early snd indulge yourself.
