A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. I felt attention and care throughout my stay. Next time I visit Sri Lanka I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.

This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

Our stay at the Summer Will Resort was absolutely delightful. The location between the mango trees, the delicious food and the comfortable room made our holidays very special. Excellent place for everything, from the facility (the super comfortable bed, the stylish decoration, the beautiful pool) to the impeccable staff and the top quality food. We booked for 2 nights and extended as we enjoyed the place so much. The staff is super nice, speak perfect English and super efficient. A lot of wildlife around the property for nature lovers. All the food (both Western and Asian) we had were excellent at an affordable price. After 8 weeks of having different curries in Sri Lanka, I am confident to say that Bird Park makes the best curry. There are plenty of on-site activities to keep you entertained too. Overall a 10/10.

    It's nice to walk around the lake and to walk up to the Buddha. There is not much else to do in the city. There are some cultural attractions within 30 km, but there is nowhere in the city to rent a scooter / bike, so you'd have to go with a tuk tuk or taxi.

    The property does not have proper bathroom and was soo dirty...

    The property does not have proper bathroom and was soo dirty. There was a small glass for bathroom window as anyone can enter through window. There were full of cockroaches and frogs inside the bathroom and I feeel really disappointed for choosing this. I informed to authorities of the property and the replied me very rudely and there said you are not our first guest by sending pics of other guests. That was the worst experience in my life I strongly tell others not to go there.😔😔
