Dunes, sandy beaches, aromatic pine tree forests, unique Curonian Spit nature, and bespoke old wooden houses in the small fishermen villages, amber, local fish food .. Certainly worth to visit this special place and to have peaceful, calm holidays at least for a week or two, visiting Nida and smaller villages like Preila, Juodkrante. For a longer stay, when it is around 25C in summer, it would be useful to change towels and bed linen in the middle of the stay. Our holidays 10. The drain of the water from the shower is slightly blocked. No balcony dryer. Armchairs not for summer. Every sweaty tourist in front of us leaned his back and there is the effect. Rusnė is a very beautiful old fishing village where you can still buy and taste fresh smoked fish. You can also rent a boat and sail to Mingė, Venta, Nida, and see the Uostadvaris lighthouse. I really enjoyed the unique architecture in Neringa, especially the traditional fishermen’s houses – they’re full of charm and character. The area was very green with lots of flower beds, which made it even more beautiful.
