It is a perfect place for a solo or a couple getaway. The location is superb - right at the end of the cottage, which means there's no car traffic. Surrounded by pine forest and garden trees, it feels very calm and private. The house itself has everything you might need for a comfortable stay, starting from fully equipped kitchenette and coffee machine to hot shower with pleasant toiletries and plush blankets for a chilly evening outside. The apartment is centrally located in Carnikava, three supermarkets close to it. Anyhow, the flat is quiet. And rather well equipped. We did not know in adwance that there is a local train station in the village just a few minutes walk away. 36-38 minutes to central Riga in a modern train for 2€. Booking.com says that check-in is possible only 15-18 but there was no problem to arrive later, the key is waiting in a coded locker next to the flat entrance. Nice view to the backyard from the living and sleeping rooms. Separate bathroom and toilet.
